As far as the other 2 Ashley's went, she was a major downgrade

Eileen is the perfect Ashley & Brenda made a suitable (if not definitive) recast.

Shari was a complete train wreck.

I had forgotten about the stuff with Nina. I can't believe they retconned a sexual encounter between them (to prop Tricia/Ryan) and didn't even show it. Seeing Cole sans shirt might have been a nice diversion from poor Nina pointing a gun at her head...

JEP had a ton of chemistry with Heather, a good amount with Tricia (and even some with Sharon Case & MTS) yet they wasted it all to prop Shari.

I wish I had kept that tape where John Abbott raged about WALKING IN THE WOODS in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT and MY GOD what kind of world is this where you can't walk in the woods at night. It was hilarious and also kind of sad, because this core character had become so unpleasant they had to beat her half to death.

OMG. That hot tranny mess of a wedding was SO a carbon-copy of that Phick shindig which ended with Phyllis being dragged out of the church, screaming, by the police. Poor tubby Chompers could only run after the police car two steps before stopping out-of-breath.

And what a [!@#$%^&*] way of writing out the character of Chance -- being shot by his taken-at-birth brother. Really, Maria? Tricia Cast salvaged that mess with her primal scream. Feather, though, really needs to sit her ass DOWN.

Eden grosses me out. This is one of the worst miscasts I've ever seen. Before now, I was indifferent to Heather. Now, I absolutely loathe her. She needs to go now! Her last scene was heinous, and yes, TC certainly salvaged it.

My mom mentioned to me the other day that Victoria/Nina have not had any scenes since Nina return over a year ago. I pointed out that it's because HT isn't playing Victoria anymore. She didn't understand until I said that Tricia could outact Amelia without even trying and in a confrontation scene, Nina would mow over Victoria.

The one thing that popped out was how horrible her lipstick was. Way too bright especially with that jacket she was wearing. But yeah, its probably best that tey dont have many or any sceenes today

We really do get over all the stages of death in this thread, don't we - except acceptance.

This show is dead.

But without acceptance you don't get over the other stages which this thread proves over and over again. It's just a loop of denial, anger, depression and bargaining over and over.
