Members John Posted December 18, 2014 Members Share Posted December 18, 2014 (edited) In 1979 when OLTL was recasting Samantha after Julie Montgomery left, the soap approached Elissa Leeds but she turned it down to do a sitcom with Dorothy Louden which was quickly canceled after it hit the air. OLTL then cast Susan Keith as Samantha who was let go 13 weeks later when Julie Montgomery wanted to return.
