Man I thought Michael was going to bust into the courtroom at some point, BEFORE the the prosecutors said their closing statements. I was hoping it would go that way. This is going way to slow, I was just waiting for Michael to escape and get to that courthouse! But now he's at Lulu's?? Wth?? This needs to hurry up lol. I want to see Claire Walsh's face when Sonny and everyone else sees Michael in the courthouse. I want her to show everyone who's boss, and that she got ahold of Michael, thanks to Dante. Hopefully that all happens on tomorrows show

Lucky seems as pointless as ever, even with the golden boy back in the role. Guza was certainly eager to restore Lucky's halo once JJ returned, but there doesn't seem to be any actual story for him, as there hasn't been since somewhere around 2005.

Instead of this tedious stuff where Helena trashes Liz and we laugh/weep/whatever, I wish they'd had Helena manipulate Liz into going totally off the rails and then give her a gun and have her go to some Spencer family party. Just say Lesley and the kids (Cameron, Jake, Spencer) were all visiting Laura, and Carly, Josselyn, and Morgan were off opening a Virginia Benson Memorial Sandcastle in Florida, or something. Then have a version of that hilarious Falcon Crest scene where crazy eyes Julia started firing randomly as the closing credits rolled. Kill off two or three or more Spencers, or one Nik and a few Spencers, and run a gazillion EVENT THAT WILL CHANGE PORT CHARLES FOREVER ads.

IMHO... Spin needs to die and send Maxie into Luckys arms and then let her start to resort back to her former bitch self in a quad with nik/maxie/lucky/liz with helena in the mix.

lol..yes. No one can say that crap and pull it off quite like Helena does but her dialogue is always on point. She had some classic lines last week with Alexis and she's at her best when talking to people she doesnt like.

What makes Helena's dialogue so great is it usually is true what she says. If Liz wasn't guilty of all the things Helena accuses her of, it wouldn't be funny. Same for Alexis and her hit and run. There is no disconnect where we wonder what show Helena is watching.

Who does have actual story on this show on a consistent basis besides Sonny and Jason? What story does Maxie, Spinelli, Robin, Patrick, Steven, Lisa, Tracy, Monica, Johnny, Kate, Edward, Maya, Skye, Jax, and Sam have right now? All these people are shown, but I couldn't really say what their story is.

I think Lucky has more than many of the cast, which is a writing problem, not a problem with any of the people I mentioned. He just got done with the Nik/Liz reveal and the aftermath. He played his part in the Kristina/Ethan debacle. I'm sure he'll get more with Helena and figuring out the truth about his baby before too long. Not to mention moving on without the person he thought was his soul mate (hopefully). Personally, I'm thankful that Guza isn't pushing him any harder. The last thing this show needs is another character on 4 days a week every week.

IMHO, of course:

Luke has no real purpose. Lulu has had so many flop stories and pairings, she's just hanging around through Dante. Ethan has this stuff with Maya but it doesn't do a lot for me and he continues to seem superflous to me. Lucky is just this saint who has to put up with Liz and thinks the world of Jason and helps those he deems worthy escape criminal charges. Bobbie is pretty much gone. Guza and JFP destroyed the family and said Luke's entire time with them was a misery. When JJ returned there was a sort of "oops" and some attempts to go back but when I look at most of their relationships I don't see any family bonds -- none with Ethan/Lulu, Ethan/Lucky, Lucky/Lulu. TG and JJ obviously have a bond but the characters really haven't in a long time. Nik is dead weight all around.

Since Guza happily demolished this family, why not, for some shock value and a sweeps stunt, write a few of them out, like he did with the Quartermaines? I can't even remember the last interesting thing most of these characters did onscreen.

Exactly. And while Liz was no perfect saint, she was utterly trashed and ran over the bus they threw her under to prop JJLucky. And for what? This? Same goes for Nikolas and everyone else that was used to prop him. It was pointless, much like everything on this show

I don't see how. The writers didn't know that JJ was coming back when Niz started. If anything they were preparing to screw the Lucky character over again and prove to us yet again how "deballed" he is, since BH and TC rate higher on the pet hierarchy than GVLucky (just like BH and Stevo) and had to be propped. They just had to show us how he wasn't man enough to keep Liz (again).

Then in a stunning reversal of fortune JJ did come back and he sure rates higher than BH and TC, so the story changes and their characters take the hit. I really don't see anything so special about Liz, Nik or Jason that Lucky always had to be the one to be trashed for them, but that's how GH rolled before JJ came back. Now It's Liz and Nik's turn to look like the bad guys and I'm not shedding any tears for them.

It's sad that this show is so predictable and that you always know which character will win based on who is a favorite, but that's been the state of GH for some time now. I'm not sure it's ever been so blatant as it was with the complete turn around in the Niz story, but many of us saw it coming the second we heard JJ was coming back.

Has Nik been kicked around? I zoned out after Lulu said his behavior was OK because he was honest.

I have never liked Liz, at times I have loathed her, especially when she is around Jason, it's not so much that I mind seeing her trashed; it's the way it was done, especially using her rape.
