April 10, 201015 yr Member Is GH really at the point where 2.0 is considered "the audience tuning in"? If so, how sad. The ABC soaps are falling faster than I thought they would. If I just look at the small picture I don't hate GH right now. Kristina's story has entertained me. If it was meant to inform, well, I'm not sure they succeeded, but the story has keep me watching daily. I generally can't stand Liz, but her scenes right now are interesting and I want to see how things play out with Lucky and Helena. I hate Sonny, but I like the relationships between his children and how they interact. I'm interested in what happens with Alexis. Anytime Ethan and Luke want to stop referring to the police as "pigs", I'll be a happier viewer. I've never even known a police officer personally and it still makes me want to ring their necks even though I like both characters.
April 10, 201015 yr Member I think it's just the opposite -- this is all an effort to make us pity Ethan. The actor can't do it, so he will suffer again and again until we weep on cue. Kristina is meaningless in this story. I couldn't agree more... too bad TIIC don't know that we're made of sterner stuff! BTW, regarding Sam, I couldn't believe she called Alexis 'mom'. I really liked it. She usually talks about Alexis in such impersonal terms that it was nice that the writers remembered that there is SOME connection there. I wonder if the Davis women will become the high brow version of OLTL's Cramer women. It's just awful that the writers had Alexis hit Kiefer, leading to his death (at least before the writers reveal some crazy twist that frees Alexis). I'd have rather seen Kiefer taken down in court. Trouble for Mac and Alexis before they even really begin. Edited April 10, 201015 yr by NorrthCafe
April 10, 201015 yr Member I noticed Sam calling Alexis mom last week. I ddint think they got to that level. I loved it Diane mentinoed that Alexis hit someone last year with her car. Who and when?
April 10, 201015 yr Member I don't care if anyone apologizes to Ethan. He is so unlikable and he grosses me out. We are due about a month more Sonny's awful trial. I can't stand it, but the audience is tuning in. I now accept that I will never be entertained by the stories that attract GH's remaining audience. The way I see the show, the ones that are unlikable are Kristina, her repulsive sister, and equally disgusting mother. Ethan has done nothing wrong. These three are perpetually wrong, and in Alexis and Sam's case, we are talking years. They are just passing the time away discussing their options while an innocent guy is getting attacked in jail by a friend of the family. This is also the second hit and run in as many years for this family, a dubious honor, and somehow Ethan is the unlikable one? That is truly weird.

April 10, 201015 yr Member Robin and Nikolas. He is still puffy, but he is looking better. Nikolas and Robin should have been done years ago. He is a pet and likes to poach other men's women so maybe Guza will explore that possibility one day. Isn't he like....wealthy? Why does he go after other men's women, shouldn't women be chasing after him, scheming to get the Cassadine fortune or something? Lonely widowed Nikolas has no luck with the ladies, except when they're with somebody else. It's kind of getting ridiculous. In all honesty, Guza has no idea what to do with the sole existing viable male of the Cassadine family, except constantly repeat past stories as some way of trying to recapture his past success.

Nikolas ran out of steam as a character when he had that affair with Courtney, cheating on an emotionally traumatized Emily. Since then he has been useless. It is only a question who is worse than who. Edited April 10, 201015 yr by Ann_SS
April 10, 201015 yr Member Nikolas has man boobs! Why oh why did they put him in that tight shirt??? Can't believe I didn't mention his man boobs protruding from that shirt. He isn't the only one. JT and IR also have man boobs. Soo gross. These men have to hit the gym. Phelps would never let the actresses let themselve go like these guys.
April 10, 201015 yr Member I *love* Bobbie and, Catwoman surgery or not, I want her back more permanently on GH. She spoke with such understanding and authority on screen (probably because JZ works in the psychology/counseling field now) and GH needs this tentpole character. Given all her ties to the canvas, there is no need for her not to be there. I didn't notice the erect nipples this week -- I was too busy cooing over the sneezing baby playing Jocelyn. Gawwwwwww.
April 11, 201015 yr Member Friday's show was good. I loved Claire Walsh ripping into Sonny. I hope they keep her in town and have her as the recurring D.A. Dahlia Salem just rocks this stuff. And Tyler Christopher is obviously laying off the Jack Daniels and Terducken. Good for him. He looks alot better these days. He'll work on getting his chest buffed back up so his manboobs aren't saggy.

I'd have rather seen Kiefer taken down in court. Trouble for Mac and Alexis before they even really begin. I think the writer's took the easy way out with Kiefer. I would have much rather seen him alive, and everyone ripping into him when he's conscious, one by one, and then he could eventually be sent to jail. Having Alexis be the hit and run driver was so incredibly stupid....!
