Who said Apollo wasn't flirting? He was too. But that doesn't mean that what Kenya did wasn't low, classless, trashy, slutty and whorish. That's why her mouth was shut when Phaedra got in that ass.

Phaedra, girl, is that you? tongue.png

And everything you've called Kenya is everything that describes Apollo and his precious wife too. Phaedra ain't no saint as people made her out to be. Angela Stanton and numerous other have called out how loose Mrs. Fraudulent Felony Parks-Nida has been in her past. It's all slowly coming to light, and continue to see it do so when Apollo is sent up the creek real soon.

Exactly. And Let's not forget Nene's numerous acts of violence on the show that weren't show (i.e. her choking Kim in Bow Wow's momma store).

And which one of Kenya's husbands has Phaedra flirted with or threw herself at? I don't read a lot of internet gossip so I only can go by what I see on TV and I've seen Kenya throw herself and continuously flirt with Apollo.

Did y'all see that video on tmz of the dumb child talking about how gays need to be saved by Jesus?!

http://www.tmz.com/2014/05/05/porsha-williams-evangelist-rant-gays-lesbians-video-church/

As for queen... The way nene said it was homophobic. It was said about a man to diminish his being a man by attacking his sexuality. Queen isn't a universally accepted term for every gay make. It is for those who are queens and embrace that. Miss lawerence for example refers to himself as miss and a queen. Brandon does not. If someone referred to me as queen I'd be offended and take it as a dig on my sexuality simply because I'm gay. That's exactly what nene was doing and she knows it.

I watched the last minutes of the Atlanta reunion (while I waited for my housewife show OC to come on), and I think Nene came off badly though miss Kenya wasn't smelling like a rose either.

Now, OC time:

I always wonder how the OC celebrates the Christmas season since New York always seems elegant and magical, and Chicago is as well :) At least the OC is tacky when it comes to the holidays like the other times of the year, sometimes consistency is a nice thing.

This weeks episode was interesting to me with a full introduction of Lizzie and Danielle...

I'm wondering why Danielle was only a friend and not a housewife. She seems nice and her husband seems interesting as well. I did notice a ping of interest between him and Eddie, perhaps this is why Tamra and Danielle eventually don't get along?

Lizzie reminds me of a Bratz doll in looks, but she seems actually nice and intelligent thus far. Plus, her line saying that not everyone should have a clothing line was a subtle slam toward Gretchen's purse line :)

Shannon and her husband are uncomfortable to watch, yet very fascinating at the same time. Even though it seems scripted, their marriage issues seem non scripted to me.

Vicki at her insurance office cracks me up. Actually anything Vicki cracks me up, and sadly she grew up in a neighboring suburb :( We are all not like her in the Chicago suburbs, rest assured :)

I disagree but that's not surprising at this point. She destroyed Kenya.

Then Phaedra completely gutted Kenya with the sperm bank speech. And I completely supported Phaedra during that whole exchange....when you sit back and think about it's absolutely true. With Apollo and Phaedra where the heck would Kenya Moore be right now?

The $10 comment was the bitter truth and even worse is that unless you have money you really don't have a clue or say in who sperm they're giving you from what I understand.

Last but not least it's true that from day one Kenya Moore has been flirting with Apollo. She's made that clear on more than one occasion and even said "he's FIONE" during one her talking heads.

While I don't like Phaedras use of "slut" all the time in some ways I understand why she's so frustrated with this woman cuz it's clear as daylight how sneaky and shady Kenya really is.

Again I hope nene laid out her challenge to Kenya on twitter and Facebook. Kenya won't accept. She's broke. She has no genuine feelings to donate to an org she cares about. All she wants is attention. And she should be utterly ashamed of herself for not donating to the Save Our Girls charity after all the grief she gave nene.

LOL. How was Kenya exposed? She named the charity she wanted to donate to and everything. Nene goes on a lot about money and material things and it shows a lot about her character. She was never this materialistic and vain in the beginning. Her worship of material things is horrible quite frankly. Like Kenya says Nene doesnt own anything she is rich but she is not wealthy.

Ok but in the process of trying to shade Kenya she also shaded thousands of women who use sperm donors every year. Phaedra can go in on Kenya all day about her being a slur or being broke but to try and play Kenya as if she and her child will be less than because iit was conceived in an unconventional way is extremely heartless to me. Kenya has never came for Phaedra's children which is essentially what Phaedra did to Kenya but she won't check Nene's ass fpr saying Dylan and Aiden are future criminals. A lot of people laughing and saying Kenya deserved it were butt hurt because she called Porsha a hoe and a beard.

And Kenya did donate to Saving Our Daughters she showed her check and text messages to prove it as well as Saving Our Daughters took down theor statement against Kenya. They are not a tax deductible charity and wanted to say Kenya didn't give them anything so they wouldn't get in trouble with the IRS

    • I think Steve and Shawn track down Kevin and Jeffrey gives them one dose on the sly in exchange for keeping it quiet. John's organs will go to Bo. We know he's not really coming home. Xander won't make the board meeting so EJ will get the hospital by default. And Kate will tell Xander that Sarah lied to him precisely because she feared he would do something like this to Philip  Those are my Friday predictions! Was a good show. I felt Philip's fear in that last scene.

I guess Susan was necessary today, but I really wish she’d leave. Marlena putting EJ on blast about Belle was pretty good though, and I hope they continue to use Marlena in their storyline. I’m interested in seeing what happens to EJelle in the aftermath of the John storyline. And I really wish we were seeing Paul and Andrew moving in on John’s location. If they can’t get Christopher Sean on the show, they should at least try to get Colton Little.  I liked how smart Xander was today and that he immediately that Philip stole the drug. He did a pretty good job in his scenes where he confronted Philip as well. I also appreciate the way that Philip’s been written lately; more like a tragic hero than a bratty, goofy clown. Which is all the more reason that I hope the triangle with Stephanie and Alex is revived. But Xander did seem a little overly melodramatic in his last scene though And, I can’t help but think that Dr. Russell being so hesitant about involving the police in the drug theft could be a sign of something.
    • I haven’t watched since Daisy’s last episode. Part of me feels like its a good place to end it because outside of The Platt’s, Tracy, Todd, and Carla and Swain I haven’t really enjoyed the show. Too many depressing stories and irksome characters, I especially hate what they’re doing to Debbie. I do think its funny they spent all this time investing into that awful new family and apparently they’ve already been canned, feedback must have been horrid.
    • I think the pre-Barnabas episodes are very underrated both for dialogue and character. They're slow but they really create a world and fill out the characters, imbuing them with heavy dimension that ultimately will have to sustain them for years as the show largely stops writing for character after it returns from 1795. What we know about them by then is what they have to power them. (I don't think the show was bad after, I actually love it in '68 and often in times after that, but it was very different.) I think the B&W episodes with Barnabas' early days are especially frightening - they terrified me as a kid - but the color stuff in '67 is also very strong, especially in the stretch where Julia is on the run, Carolyn is under Barnabas' control, and you get the sense that events have gone off the rails for the regular characters and anything goes. As a child viewer seeing it in syndication on the Sci-Fi Channel, who had no idea who lived or who died, it was a lot. Mitch Ryan is especially powerful in the early pre-Barnabas era as the sort of Byronic Burke Devlin character. You knew they had to kill him once Barnabas comes in, despite Ryan's alcohol problem making it impossible to keep him at the show - Burke dominates the first year or so as the fulcrum character, he's incredibly magnetic and charismatic. You couldn't see him becoming a dupe for Barnabas and Julia, as Anthony George's more benign, mild version briefly does before getting unceremoniously killed off. I always found Burke's offscreen plane crash death very eerie and suspicious, and I think the show does toy with the question if Barnabas' powers somehow got him on that plane and if he took it down. I had always wanted Burke to return one day, in any revival project, as a kind of vengeful power broker and puppet master, driven by Vicki's inevitable demise to get revenge on Barnabas and co. I still have Art Wallace's "Shadows on the Wall" DS bible somewhere. IIRC in the earliest versions of the plot Vicki was going to somehow be tied to the butler or his daughter - Betty Hanscomb or something. I don't remember the exact details. I do know there's all sorts of raised and dropped plotlines and characters offscreen in '66, like Ned Calder, the man they clearly intended to pair with Liz and so on. I've always found '66 very rich, but I don't begrudge the show after for it because it's still awfully well-written, specifically the early Barnabas stuff.
    • I totally agree with this, as most of you seem to. Mary Carney was at least competent and reasonably likable; I just feel like she barely had anything of substance to do before she was abruptly given the hook. And I get the backstory of Kathleen Tolan having done a play with Helen Gallagher, but...at any point did they ever actually READ her before they greenlit her? Because...OOF. First time I saw her on SoapNet was right when this GODAWFUL actress named Charity Rahmer played Belle on Days of Our Lives for all of three weeks before she was mercifully recast; her line readings were straight out of a Charlie Brown special. I remember thinking Kathleen Tolan could have played her mother! In the Frank/Jill/Delia triangle, Delia WAS the one who was cheated on, so I got why she was upset and thought it was perfectly valid in theory at least, but of course it was blown up to Wagnerian proportions including falls involving staircases and tricycles. But with Pat/Faith/Delia I had no sympathy for her...especially because it was mainly with Catherine Hicks's Faith and I really liked her.
    • I was going through those episodes from 1984 and early 1985 before they were taken down. Some of the older characters, like Don and even Tom, looked a little out of place, like they were on the wrong show. But the newer characters were fun. It's too bad they lost the character of Melissa. I guess Jennifer took her long-term place on the canvas.
    • How I will remember him...
