I think Atlanta should have cut porsha and Phaedra and added Claudia and demetria as housewives.

BH and OC did some adjusting to their cast for their recent seasons....OC had a great season 9 due to one of their new.additions and how everyone reacted to.her...while BH seems to.have had a new lease in life after a horrid season 4.

The show would've definitely been popping had they simply added two elements ... Sheree & Marlo. Those two messy queens would've brought the ratings and drama. Especially my Queen Marlo. I agree that last season was popping but that was because they had so many fabulous friends stirring the pot and in the drama. They should've followed the same method this season.

Marlo will never hold a peach. If she was it would've been after Season 6 when she was at the center of Nene and Kenya's feud. It's clear someone at Bravo isn't seeing it for her. Claudia is basically doing what Marlo's purpose would have been (friend for Kenya). And plus too many women on the show don't have men. I don't mind 1 or 2 but the title of the show is a little jarring when the majority of the cast don't have a man or at least a significant other.

ETA: or at least some kids to show a home life. I honestly don't like how RHOA has devolved into just reading and shading it's getting annoying and they're the only franchise like this. I love seeing a girl get read DOWN but this show could use a little balance. Last season did it perfectly.

I love that Kenya doesn't take herself seriously. She was so mischievous and playful in last night's episode and her "YAAS!" always kill me. I also like her friendship with Claudia it seems genuine unlike many friendships on this show, however the episode was boring with a capital B. I'm not sure if ATL is deliberately starting off slow or they don't have much content to air but all the episodes seem like filler except literally the last 5 minutes - which are always previewed the week before as if it's the entire episode. If that's the case I might as well tune in to the last 5 minutes each episode since that's the only time something happens. Next week's confrontation with Claudia and Porsha look entertaining but as usual it will only happen during the last 5 minutes of the show.

I just hope Atlanta doesn't have a 30 episode season like last year (or it felt like one). I'd much rather the shows go back to 13 to 15 episode seasons plus a one or two part reunion.

RHOC had a two part reunion last year and it didn't feel like too much filler was added either.

Well of course he's going to say that he wants us to keep watching. I seriously think that his definition of popping is different from the viewer. I might've been popping when watching in real time but this season has been stagnant. I am kind of hopeful with these next few episodes b/c this is when Phaedra's empire comes crashing down.

I think Kenya said that there are 21 episodes this season but I bet Bravo is going to stretch the season out even more. Bravo likes to milk RHOA for every drop but fails to see it slowly kills the show. I agree that housewives show should be no more than 15-18 episodes a season with two reunions--one being an hour and the finale being 90 mins. That's why the OC did good last year and international housewife shows are excelling. They are too much of a drain to watch.

But Bravo is going to drag these shows out to fill the void of RHOM & RHONJ when they could easily green light new shows to replace them for the time being or go ahead and film the shows. No need in putting them on hiatus. It actually hurts the show by doing so. Look how it hurt NYC last season.

But people do Vix. wink.png

As for RHoA, perhaps it is slow because of the haphazard craziness that was behind the scene casting this season along with the fact that everyone isn't getting along as well as they did last season.

Kyle needs to slap the ever loving mess out of Brandi tomorrow night. I give her my full permission and blessing to do so. And then when she's done she can drag Kims butt across the drive way and into the van so she take her rehab.

The previews for tomorrow look really good tho.

I enjoyed their individual scenes with other characters before they all came together at the Pub to commiserate over their relationships with Sami. I thought that was broken down pretty well. I just wish it had gone on a little longer. And I actually found it kinda funny too lol it seemed more mature than what we're used to. That's the kind of humor that should be on a soap. But I'm not really sure about all this talk of Dante Vitali and Sami's engagement though, especially since it doesn't look like Ali Sweeney is coming back anytime soon. What's the point of it all if we're (probably) not going to see it? It also looked like today was the first round of Brady vs. Xander as well lol I enjoyed their fight, and I'm interested in seeing this storyline play out. Even though I'm sure that Sarah will ultimately go back to Xander in the end, I'd like to see what happens along the way, and how they and everyone around them are affected by this. Btw, Theo and Jada? Idk. I still think he had the most chemistry with Arianna. And he was a bit of a dick too. It also seemed a little out of character for Jada for her to be so OK with him being such a dick  And though Alex and Stephanie were very boring again and need much better conflict than this book stuff, I am interested in the mystery of who's targeting Alex.  And yeah, I know this is a nitpick, but why is the Square still open after the gala? Isn't it supposed to be really late at night?
    • In fairness, Hillary and Bob Woods were thick as thieves again at least by the end of OLTL. But both she and I believe Mark Derwin not so subtly dissed Kale Browne in the oral history, lol.

Does anyone have screenshots of it?
    • Geez, I hadn't heard that Doctors story. HBS really did go through it.
    • No offense to the actors involved, but dear God in heaven: I don't know HOW viewers managed to get through that storyline with Maggie, Frank, Cal and baby Jill without running into oncoming traffic.  Then, to make matters worse, they dragged poor Diana into the mess!  I don't care WHO gets that damn baby!  Just wrap it up and move ON already!
    • Poor HBS.  To have to put up with Stephen Burleigh, who stuck his knee between her legs while rehearsing a love scene on THE DOCTORS, then told the director that's what he did with his wife; Kincaid, who had more hair on his chest and upper lip than Koko the Gorilla; Kale Browne, who taped his lines all over the OLTL studio floor, because he couldn't ever be bothered to [!@#$%^&*] memorize them; and Robert S. Woods, who apparently thought it was still 1979 and that he was still smolderingly sexy, so why should Bo Buchanan be stuck being in a happy marriage with Nora?  After all that, no wonder she jumped at the chance to play a lesbian on VENICE, lol.
    • @Maxim Thank you for the mini-review and clip from several pages ago. I appreciate you using the Bo/Alex clip as them meeting again by this point was a real surprise to me. The scene has some layers, getting a glimpse of Alex genuinely wanting the best for Bo rather than gloating. I was disappointed it ended with Tina dragging her out of the room for some much less interesting sparring (I did enjoy Alex pointing out just how quickly Tina got over Cord).
