Brandi was always desperate to stay on the show. I miss second and third season Brandi. This is a woman who allowed her father to accuse her of being an escort during the Family Boot Camp show. Just ugh. What does it say about you that your father thinks you worked as a hooker?

I try to like Porsha but it doesn't help that Dennis is such a scuzzbucket and it seems she's only with him for the money.

RHONJ: I fell asleep while watching Hulu and they decided to autplay the RHONJ reunion where Margaret and Siggy were fighting. Has there been a more bitter and mentally unbalanced woman like Siggy? I couldn't get over how delusional and hateful she was. Was it just the reunion or was she a nutjob the entire season?

She should’ve had a diamond last season. They focused quite a bit on her and she carried the last part of the season once LVP left. The fact that they’ve only brought her back as a friend yet again is stupid.

I think Kyle is thrilled to be only remaining OG.

None of the current, non-deserving, diamond holders want to get their hands dirty onscreen, so they rely on FOHs and newbies to do that for them. And that includes the last OG standing, Kyle.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this has irreparably harmed the show.

NJ: Teresa is the dumbest woman on television. Like if you told me she'd had a lobotomy at some point I'd believe it. She cannot accept that she is a convicted criminal. Her brother speaks such sense: this isn't judgment, these are facts.

DALLAS: Fire 'em all. All of them. End the show. Move on. Kameron is as complicit at the rest - Brandi and Stephanie let that little tidbit slip about production saying they were going to use it by the time Kameron decided to expose Leanne.

No...from everything Lea Black has said in the intervening years, Miami got really dark/scary/intense behind the scenes.

I think they need to focus on the franchises they have now, fix the ones they can, and let the RH brand rest a little bit - the saturation is intense and they've burned through cities. The Salt Lake City one sounds like it is scraping the barrel.

I'll admit this stunned me and made no sense. This franchise showed a woman getting an eviction notice, the reveal that one is an alcoholic/potential drug addict, another being beat by her husband, sons shoplifting at walmart and the list goes on. What made them think this wouldn't air?! Stephanie elaborated on WWHL by explaining Leanne has done similar things in the past and it never aired so they assumed because she was sort of the headliner of the show that they'd continue to protect her. I LOVED the moment when she called Kameron out and revealed the producers told them it was going to air which is why it was brought up.

I don't envy the producers for next season though. They definitely need a retool, but I just don't know what to do with it after that reunion. I know they usually jump into filming but they may need to wait and let the dust settle and figure out what they're gonna do. That's what Andy said is happening with RHOC. Normally they'd get pickup letters by now, but he said casting for new wives is so good they don't know what direction to go in.

She was perhaps prodded by a panicked production to show up and do a little something on the last day of filming and justify her cheque. And coming for Denise = a nasty little posting on Twitter. Bear in mind that Denise actually never showed up to the finale, so no Rinna-Denise confrontations on camera were actually had.

It is very telling that amid all the gossip out there, we have heard absolutely zero about: Kyle, Erika, Teddi, Dorit. Nothing about Sutton, and little about Garcelle, except that she is supportive of Denise (sounds like G stays true to her own instincts). Camille is absolutely right to point this out.

Yes Camille!!! I love that after 3/4 of filming and Beverly Hills being dubbed “boring” that suddenly during the last quarter they bust out good ol’ inflatable Brandi and suddenly BH is being talked about like it’s the golden years.... Yeah, no. When the only rustling of news are a former has been and last season’s newbie you know this sh*t is in trouble. Which makes Camille’s digs all the more delicious!

    • Hotel was The Love Boat on land but a little soapier. I will forever maintain that Hotel was a time slot hit. I don't believe that 1983/84 Hotel was a better show than Knots Landing.

    • The timing is strange, though. How far in advance would they normally be on location? The Achille Lauro hijacking was on October 7, 1985. Nancy had arrived in Egypt in the storyline by October 18. But the character of Hawk, Chris' Native American friend from Arizona, had already appeared onscreen by September and brought a letter telling Chris to be in Egypt by October 25th.  Why did they already have the link to Arizona before the reason to cancel the shoot in Egypt?  The dust and the jar it came in were from Egypt though. Nancy bought it there and sent it to Mac as a gift before she came back to the states and followed Chris to Arizona.
    • Actually that is not what happened. Nor is the timing right for it to have been. We learned from a WOST interview with Pete Lemay  in 2006, which can be found on YT, that it was Fred Silverman's idea to do the 90 minute show. I don't know how much you know about him but he had these amazing successes as head of daytime at both ABC & at CBS. Then he came to NBC where basically everything he touched turned NOT TO GOLD but to shite. Some of the most expensive shows ever produced up to that time were huge flops. Although even he, like a broken clock, could be right on occasion. However, as we know, he was not right about the 90 minute show. As a matter of fact, afterward,  NBC programmers, who worked FOR him, were asked why they did it & they were quoted as saying it was because they couldn't think of anything else to try. It was a stupid idea from a man who had reached the point where he was throwing anything at the wall to see if it would stick.

    • I stopped watching Another World in 1990. Simply, lost interest in the show.  I had watched the show from 1973 to 1990. The 90 minute show started the decline of AW.  NBC panicked with expanding AW due to the GH hoopla. As mentioned above, 1982 was a trainwreck for AW.  The introduction of the Shea family, the movie storyline involving Jamie, and Steve Frame favoring Rachel over Alice. The writers went into that direction due to the forgettable performance of Linda Borgeson.

    • Ive seen that theory thrown out but the one thing against it is that Leslie and her family lived in Chicago. She only came back to DC last year after her husband died. Unless they say Alan made a trip to DC and died while away, she wouldnt know about that. However I do think the angle of her finding out that Martin was involved could work as that gives her leverage against Bill too for covering it up. She'd want to get revenge on him by threatening to have him disbarred
    • What a good write-up @Errol! Nice seeing the nod to Duplaix's lead.
    • The Egypt location shoot was cancelled because of the Achille Lauro cruise ship hijacking
