That whole "story arc" of Porsha and her lil "argument" with her man was such filler last night. That's the problem with these two episodes. Too much Porsha and it's all nonsense filler that you'd expect on one of those "Secrets Revealed" episodes tacked on at the end after the reunion airs.

I was just going to say - I was watching WWHL from last night and Andy was still fawning over Kenya and her baby. He asked Kandi all about the baby shower and it was all positivity. If she had pissed off Andy or Bravo the way the article says, he wouldn’t have been saying that. Whew!

ATL

I'm actually enjoying this season a lot. I don't mind Porscha in the leading capacity that she's currently in because I find her amusing. Her choking on the dress was hilarious. The guy she's with seems as greasy as a cheese pizza, but get those diamonds, girl!

Nene is clearly living through a lot with Greg and he looks so unwell. Stage 3 colon cancer is so serious, I pray for them both.

OC

I can't believe next week is the season finale. Basically, nothing of any consequence happened this season! It went by really fast though, because it wasn't a hard slog of hellish storylines - this was a "light" season for OC and was generally easy to watch. I can't imagine the reunion will be much - if they stretch it into a three parter they are really kidding themselves at Bravo.

RHOD:

Finally caught up on last week's episode. Copenhagen is such a picturesque city. Love that my girl Cary is finally stepping up as peacemaker/trip organiser. She has a wry, dry sense of humor, and voice of reason is a good fit for her. We haven't seen much of Cary this season -- I'm assuming because she and Dr. Deathly hired PR consultants over the break who told them to stay out of the limelight and repair their image.

Why do I feel like Brandi is an afterthought this season? That 'alcoholic' plot to try and nail LeeAnne was lame AF!

The fashions and make-up on this trip are giving me mid-1970s European soft porn vibes. Allegedly! Not that I would know. But yeah, Cary's contoured make-up and D'Andra in that red bell-bottomed onesie -- yikes. I blame Gucci for this eurotrash 70s mess that is in fashion currently.

RHONJ:

Not sure what to make of the first episode. On the one hand -- thankfully -- it still retains some of the lightness of last season. OTOH, it was like a weird mishmash of tropes from other RH shows. We have another bodybuilding competition to prep for, some vaginal rejuv (on a 71 year old woman no less); we even had some Flipping Out thrown in. Not sure I'm excited about seeing Dolores and Frank do renovation, but I like Dolores and find her much more tolerable without Siggy. There was a lot of her this episode.

Margaret's bed and shower scene with her husband was a little TMI for a RH show. What is it with the NJ HWs trying to imitate Tamra??

Teresa has done something to her face (or her lips and it is... jarring.

Thankfully this is a shorter season but you can tell they chopped a ton out of Danielle's SL. I don't even understand why. They might as well have kept it in if they are going to show her with her guy.

Of course they're having a good time. They are high-fiving each other on their plan to oust LVP from the show once and for all. It won't be peaceful for long, though. I wonder who will turn on who first?

Welp. That's that, then.

End of an era. She has refused to film with the other women for over two months so clearly she is done with the whole shebang. As the Jezebel article points out, she's leaving at a time when the franchise kind of sucks. I assume she will stay with VPR.

Maybe this will give RHOBH a new lease of life. Or maybe the show will turn into another RHOV as the hyenas turn on each other. Or worse, it stays deathly boring because everybody wants to show how 'nice' it is without LVP 'stirring the pot.'

What I want to know is: will LVP be attending S9 reunion?

@DaytimeFan, ETOnline is reporting that LVP being out is false. They are saying that it is not final yet, but I am pretty sure she'll be over it by the time the season ends airing. However, I don't think she'll be going out alone. I wouldn't be surprised if Bravo did a massive recast after this season with Rinna, Dorit, and Teddi being discarded too. Denise is a probably a lock for a few seasons, and Andy will never discard his bland faves, Kyle and Erotika Lame.

NJ:

This show is dull. I know it is only episode 2, but I just don't see it with this group of women. Danielle not being full-time ain't helping either. Bravo is stupid for not pulling the trigger and simply bringing back Caroline and Jacqueline to battle Tre and Danielle.

Dallas:

This show is the BEST housewives show currently airing. But I need Brandi to go after this season. She stirs the pot but sucks at it. She really needs to go study up on the likes of Kenya, LVP, Tamra, Ashley, Rinna--women who make pot-stirring an art form. Brandi just came off thirsty to create drama, and I was impressed that Leeanne peeped her hand and didn't bit. By Leeanne not taking the bait, Brandi's fury grew. It looks like none of the women are going to take her side next week in saying that they don't trust Leeanne.

And Kam gets the MVP award from me tonight by saying what we are all thinking about "naked-gate." Brandi, you're on a reality show! What difference does it make if Leeanne was filming you? Also, if Leeanne shared the footage with anyone without our consent, it'd be revenge porn. I doubt Leeanne is trying to go to jail just to show Brandi's plastic body on film.

Hahahahaha!!!! Oh, you!!! re: Brandi.

You do remind me that I haven't say anything DALLAS since I got caught up.

LeeAnne has been resonating for a while with me and last week sealed it for me. She really has been trying to be the best version of herself and those girls (okay, Brandi and Ashley Abbott) just do not like it AT ALL. And she threw out true tea about Ashley and her friendship and the difference between being someone's best friend and not being someone's best friend. And all of that just hit a nerve. That whole situation actually. And I'm from the South as well so...LOL!!!

I did like more info on Cary last week. And I wanted to find time to learn more about her cousin's music.

Go on, Kameron!!! Stir that pot. Loved her showdown and Southern shade she threw at Ms. Ashley last week.

Ashley, Ashley, Ashley...that second season curse is U-G-L-Y!!!!

Sounds like Brandi might get her compuppance like that rumor said so YAAAAAAY!!!!

And really enjoying Stephanie a lot this season...especially since she appears to be becoming her own person.

    • The only blonde I see is one of the actual women staring at first & then screaming & running later.  DAYS: Vivian's manservant Ivan is in a long curly red wig.

Y&R: long straight black wig is the actor Peter Barton whose character name I am blanking on.
    • I very much liked office Cleary and the actress who portrayed her (as you say, Mary Peterson).  A shame her turn didn't evolve into a contract role.   BTW, does anyone know the timeframe/years that Betty Rae served as casting director?  If i understand correctly, she not only led the effort for contract roles, but also for shorter 13- and 26-week roles.  IMO, GL had LOTS of very well-casted, limited roles, too. I'm surprised the actors throughout the soap industry, and especially P&G actors, have not assembled a book or something similar, praising Rae.  Each actor could write a few paragraphs or a page of text describing his or her experience.
    • No. Ruth had an extramarital affair with David while married to Joe.
    • I'm not sure I agree with Bernstein's children on that. Bernstein's life and activism here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonard_Bernstein#Social_activism_and_humanitarian_efforts
    • Thursday & Friday's episodes were excellent. The build-up was most definitely worth the wait (2 months). TMG, I can't give her enough accolades. AM, was also absolutely incredible. I think the fallout is going to have a ripple effect. The little clues that have been dropped,  hopefully, will weave seamlessly to reveal even bigger bombshells for the Dupree's and Martin.
    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archived copy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
