It's so crazy to think of all the different sides to Luann we've been able to see. She was REALLY vicious in season 4. I loved her that way, especially with Alex. That is one of the biggest reasons Luann didn't work in season 5 for me. They got rid of her closest allies (Jill/Kelly) and her only rival (Alex). I think Alex would've been the perfect bridge so the season didn't start off boring. Her and Luann would've been going at it and she would've clicked with Heather and Carole.

Luann's feud with Ramona was one of the most poorly acted reality stories I've ever seen. She came off very desperate and Ramona seemed confused by it.

Ramona is still friends with Alex and I believe Bethenny keeps in touch with Alex, Sonja and Ramona, but I doubt they are close.

Ramona said last week on Bethenny's show that she and Alex still wish each other happy birthday, Merry Christmas, etc. and attended a fashion event together recently (or at least, they sat next to each other). I agree that Alex was needed for the Season 5 revamp, if only to have something of substance for LuAnn and for there to be legitimate tension. LuAnn vs. Ramona in the first couple episodes was indeed desperate. Ya just gotta LOL at that driveby bombshell, where LuAnn tells the 3 new girls that Ramona left her a threatening voicemail, and then LuAnn is like, "okay well bye!"

I rewatched the Season One reunion of BH. Sigh... the good ol' days when this show was glamorous and blinged out on Beverly Hills extravagance.

Luann and Alex had a great feud in season 4 while I thought Luann and Ramona worked better as frenemies then enemies. Once Ramona and Luann 'made up' after the first few episodes of season 5.. they worked as frenemies especially that scene of the two of them bathing suit shopping together LOL Though I did enjoy the calling out on her pot stirring ways by everyone at the season 5 reunion :) That reunion cemented my love for Heather since she seems made for reunions :)

Not really. They were holding back a little. Kim did try to throw a little shade Porsha's way about her new song. Nene called in to talk about Dancing with the Stars and she was playing nice with them and said how much she missed the original girls. No problem. I am amazed at how well Atlanta is doing. I hope they trend towards and surpass the 5 million mark for the reunion.

I'm not shocked but it is quite amazing how much better they do than almost all other programming on Bravo. They were kicking butt last season which was probably one of the weaker seasons they've had. RHOA has been wildly entertaining this season in a harmless way. Almost all the girls - and some of the "guys" (looks at Peterita) - are bringing it in terms of bringing shade, tea, drama (contrived and natural), there's mama Joyce bringing a healthy dose of ghetto. Except for Phaedra with Kenya, all the girls are not taking s--t to heart hardcore - at least not during the taping of the season (so far). That's key to making the experience enjoyable for me as a viewer. It's why I used to love RHOBH most before this season.

I watched most of it but not closely. Nene was okay. I got to say this chick is actually a really good entertainment personality. Sometimes I want to strangle her, sometimes I think she's just great adorable, harmless fun.

O.T. Candice Cameron was amazing (and she's grown up into a beautiful woman) but her personality sort of reminds me of annoying Nene. Maybe that will change as the season progresses. "Winnie" versus "DJ"? Love that. Pretty good casting this season. Those gold-medal winning ice dancers are good and I'm sure they are also good for ratings but that's such an unfair advantage. They can dance eloquently on ice with a thin blade. They're not going to have much trouble dancing the same way in flats with heels.

RHOA

Only caught the last 30 minutes. I have to say the interaction between Apollo and Kenya was inappropriate from both sides considering the way they both know Phaedra feels about that. They were flirting. Apollo is definitely doing more of it - checking Kenya out, etc. It's clear Kenya was right about the texts.

Just watched the RHOBH reunion.

Loved Yo/Brandi, and even Kim. Joyce looked awful and sounded a complete fool. Lisa continued to deflect any and all blame from herself. Carlton had a few good moments but remained overall irrelevant.

Re: WWHL. You could tell by her icy smile that Sheree was annoyed that they were taking so much time to talk to NeNe on the phone. (I can understand that. But what else do you ask Sheree? If her son is still sleeping on the floor?) She totally side-stepped a direct answer about the status of Chateau Sheree which was funny.

NeNe was great on DWTS. This is the NeNe I love. The one that is fun, funny, and shows gratitude, not entitlement. She was nearly crying with joy after her first performance.

    • Jill Farren Phelps was always very skilled at saying what she meant onscreen in the bluntest way possible, like whenever she wanted fans to support one character vs. the other (hence Megan McTavish groaning about having to write Kale Browne's Sam Rappaport into three days a week at OLTL). Perhaps you should consider doing the same. Historically your intent is always far more obvious than your efforts at coy embroidery anyway. You believe people are dismissing Phelps' accomplishments, and suggest misogyny and fan blinders allow people to too easily pigeonhole and dismiss her skill set. I think we all understand her varied skill set. We're saying it's not enough to make up for her deficiencies as a storyteller and creative. JFP was undoubtedly a skilled technical producer. As a solo storyteller, and de facto HW, she was a repeat and predictable failure. She was not the first or last EP (male or female) to think she was a writer. If you want us to stop taking your behavior personally when you suggest misogyny is at play in board opinions of JFP, perhaps you should consider spending the next 10+ years here not acting like you're the only one who gets it.

Melissa was here today & we went to Michael's Crafts & Ofc Depot. In Michael's there were two beautiful LITTLE girls who kept staring at me, so I gave them a littel wave & very quietly said HI & then did back. I told Melissa they were staring at me. She smiled & said "Purple. A lot of little girls love purple & you forget but you have purple hair. Seeing you their whole imaginations are transformed! Thinking "That lady has purple hair. That means I can have purple hair! They had no clue before seeing you that it was possible." I just laughed & laughed.
    • This opening scene is hilarious...it's like someone wrote out the script for Philip with one hand. And Rick...sniffing a scarf over and over. And in their next scene they are still sniffing the [!@#$%^&*] scarf as the camera stays all over Philip's bare chest and armpits as he keeps working out. Insane stuff.

Bay City better be ready, because I'm back!   At Vicky's apartment she is once again drowning in doubts and jealousy. Deep down she realizes that her dream wedding will be a farce and nothing can change that. Bridget tries to calm her down, but the heroine is determined to suffer. She is not hearing any positive thoughts. She doesn't believe Jamie will marry her. At the Cory Publishing building another farce is in process. Iris, once again pretending to be the angel of love and sisterhood... is telling Mac and Rachel some wonderful news. When Iris has good news, you really need to look out for yourself. That's when things are bad. So what are the news? Miss Devil has put Amanda up for an award! Mac is smiling from ear to ear, and Rachel is suspicious. Maybe that's the effect Iris is looking for. To once again accent on the fact that Rachel doubts and criticizes her daughter. Iris will do anything to destabilize their relationship. She is like a cancer. Back to Vicky! Jamie is at the door. Looking like a sad puppy, he has come with a surprise. No, he is not gonna leave her and her unborn... Not yet. He has bought her earrings. Sad face. How nice. NOT. Victoria, of course... manages to break one of them the moment she touches it. Bad premonition maybe? She was back in hysterics. It's not easy to trap a man into marriage. Then you have to live with someone that didn't want you in the first place.  We were introduced to a new character (to me at least she is new) - Cass's sister - Stacey. She is giving me "hidden skeletons in the closet"-vibes. Love a girl like that. Stunning actress. I like her. The highlight of the episode was the strange and creepy reveal of Evan the escort... hugging someone named Janice's grave. I remember she had an issue with Rachel... and Rachel killed her in self defense I think... It was hinted in prior episodes, but I lack the context and story. I just know that everyone at the Frame house was mad that Rachel killed the bish. But I also got the impression that this Janice was sick in the head. So Evan is now talking to her grave and telling her he is going to ruin Rachel's life basically. Oh, Evan... I liked you better as a sexy gigolo.  Overall - 10/10 - how can I rate it lower when I haven't watched in months!!!

    • Once again, Marlena and Kayla were used very effectively and I couldn’t be happier.  Marlena counseling Johnny and then Chanel was the best part of today. They’re really delving into the human emotion of this storyline and I think that’s a good thing. It feels so much mature than it was before. EJ’s fear about what could happen to Johnny if he doesn’t let go of his anger could lead to some really good storylines in the future.  I also really appreciate the way that Paula/Jeanne are mixing it up and having different characters interact with each other. It was nice to see Shawn and Johnny remember that they’re cousins and share a scene together. I liked the parallel that was drawn between the two of them, and what’s going on with their fathers. I did have mixed feelings about everything with Cat though. I enjoyed Chanel warning her about EJ, mostly because it played into the way that she was written today. But I wasn’t the biggest fan of the Chad/EJ scenes. The two of them discussing Chad’s potential feelings for Cat didn’t really keep my interest.  But above all, I feel that everyone is being used more effectively and that we’re getting a better understanding of everyone as well. And that was exactly what Days needed.
    • It's a wild story for sure, especially the final conclusion (and fireworks offcamera, like Victoria Wyndham tearing into Michael Logan).

    • I did some research and the story wrapped up with Eric,a caretaker responsible for Georgina's death who then  tried to do away with Laurie but a vision of Georgina spooked him and he smashed into a mirror, dying of glass wounds. So there was a supernatural element. I wonder if the Brody character in the credits was Eric Brody?
