Not a bad episode, but also a bit of a momentum lull after last week. Yes, it's weird for a non-Brady to have their memorial in the pub, but given that this soap runs on a penny budget, they did the best they could. Nice switch-up with some different character interactions, as well. Nice to have a DiMera-lite beginning to the week.
And thank f**k Melissa Reeves was not in some oversized farming dress like she's been the past few times we have seen her. However, I could do without seeing her period. It's a crying shame they let Cady McClain slip through their fingers, but their loss was Beyond the Gates' gain. And JJ needs a storyline. An actual storyline, not a rehashing from the previous sh*t regimes. Casey Moss is too good to be playing supporting.
