No I was born in 1974, I just never got into the show while I was growing up

Gotcha! Yeah, it's a hilarious, addictive show that never gets old and inexplicably never seems to make those critics' lists of best sitcoms.

How about we discuss some of our favorite Golden Girls lines, since we've done episodes...

Here are some of mine:

Sophia: If I turn my hearing aid up to 10, I can hear a canary break wind in Lauderdale!

Sophia: Rose, I hate Jello. If God wanted peaches suspended in mid-air, he would have filled them with helium!

Dorothy: *In reply to Blanche's rant about not letting communists take over."...."Rocky 4 had a profound effect on you, didn't it blanch?"

Rose: Can I ask a dumb question?

Dorothy: Better than anyone I know.

Dorothy: And what is your favorite charity, Blanch?

Blanche: Well...I bought the We are the World album!

Hallmark is doing an all day GG marathon

Yep it's been going on since Empty Nest marathon ended at 6am

It almost hurts to watch this knowing that Betty is the only one still alive. I grew up with this show, these were four other grandmothers to me. Gah.

But I am laughing so hard I'm crying.

I think my favorite line is when the mean lady dies down the street, and the girls go to buy a casket for her. The funeral home directors name is Mr. Phiefer, only it's pronounced P-fif-er. He asks the girls if they're there planning ahead for mother (Sophia). And Estelle with that god damn impeccable timing of hers goes, "Hey P-fif-er, how about a punch in your p-face?" LMFAO

Or the best yet is when Sophia and Blanche are fighting over Fidel and Sophia comes home from her date with him, and Blanche walks out in a nightgown talking about how she's going to go take a bath. Fill the tub up with just enough water to cover her perky bosoms. And Sophia goes, "You're going to sit in an inch of water?"

I saw this one not too long ago and I LMAO everytime Sophia says that
