Farah Fath declares war on the message boards

Ugly, but soap fans who drool over actors set themselves up for this kind of dismissive treatment. The actors are not their characters. They all put on fake fronts when they meet fans because they want the support to keep their jobs. They make more money that most of us so soap fans should not give them [!@#$%^&*]. To these actors, it is just a job. They give two figs about their characters. Soap fans need to wake the hell up to this reality. I hope that FF's comments which have opened the door to info on her true personality get some people to join the rest of us in the real world.

I agree that some fans can get too close but a professional performer of any kind should have enough sense not to show their ass like that. If she wanted to rip that stuff up when she got back to her apartment, or the studio with some of her coworkers more power to her. But to do that in eye- and earshot of your paying customer is just stupid.

Of course they put on fake fronts. That's what functional adults do. People who can't put on fake fronts lose their jobs. Do you tell the coworker you hate to kiss your ass? Do you mock your customers to their faces? No, you mock them at happy hour with like minded people or at a dinner party with your actual friends. I'm all for keeping it real but this is definitely an episode of "When Keepin' it Real Goes Wrong."

Plus, why would they give her jewelry? That is plain dumb.

"Farah came home from a long day of work to check her computer, only to find that some haters had infiltrated her favorite message boards..."

(please note we are not actually haters, but it sounds hilarious)

ITA, though I would say that some actors (the real ones) do in fact care about their characters. But everything you said needed to be said and digested by a good many. There are many kind-hearted actors out there who really do appreciate the love and support of their fans, but let's not forget that the relationship of actor and fan is just that, it is not a personal friendship, don't delude yourself.

And honestly, it squicks me out hardcore. I think of the Rebecca Schaeffers and Selena Quintanillas, and it saddens me.

Ugh! That comment stuck with you, too, huh?

I know right, 9 times out of 10 I hear that from Sunday morning Christians being condescending.

Wow...Maybe instead of being a BITCH about it, she should realize that she SUCKS and THANK US for letting her know so that she can slip into seclusion and spare herself...and more importantly, our eyes/ears.

*Freeze frame* "For hours she read page after page of critcism of her hair and acting. Enraged and a little drunk she'd had enough. That's when Farah decided to KEEP IT REAL."

Why is she so upset? Maybe a certain someone decided not to renew their contract with her? Not talking about her OLTL one, btw. lol!

Finally our unholy union is consummated.

Apparently Farah's middle finger can work miracles. Strange, terrifying miracles.

LMAO!

I have been thinking about this all day.

I can not believe that new status she put up. If she doesn't care what people think then why did she post that ridiculously unprofessional status last night?

Farah Fath is an average actress, but when people like Daphnee Duplaix and Scott Clifton are getting fired over her, you know there is a problem.

I'm sorry Ron Carlivati, but Gigi and Rex is not the end all, be all of soap couples. I'm hoping he throws them back together, and let them leave Llanview happily ever after

If you had to wear heels with your karate gi every day you would be lazy too.

Come on, guys. Criticize Flannery's acting choices, whatever, but comments like this only reinforce what FF was saying about some of the posts on these boards. Let's elevate the discussion, please.
