Tyrion is not really the star of the books. He's hugely popular among the book and show fans though. I have to admit I absolutely love him and can never get enough.

Who do you consider the "star of the books" then?

I'd say he's one of the Top 5 characters judging by the amount of chapters he has and the mentions he gets from even other characters in the series. His actions alone have driven a majority of hte books in the stories.

But yes Peter Dinklage owns the role of The Imp. That being said they did a horrible job last year with his relationship with Shae....I won't say more except to say that what was shown onscreen was a little off.

I don't think the books have a star. As you just said there are at a very minimum 5 character who are at the top. I'd say the number is more like 10 and the books are a true "ensemble". If I absolutely had to pick a star, I would say it's Dany or Jon.

Kit and Emilia do look very good together. This is how I see it playing out in the end. Jon and Dany will either be married or take turns on the throne.

That was a good promo. A nice look at Mance and the dragons. I only wish these promos had come out a month or two ago. I think that would have built up anticipation better.

Good to see Ciaran Hinds. He is a talented actor and I can't wait to see him as Mance.

Ciaran Hinds was amazing on Political Animals on USA Network. Very much looking forward to seeing him on TV again.

However I'm kinda blah about this show. While I love the books the last season started off okay and quickly went downhill into terrible territory. I hope this season is great but the previews haven't given me much hope.

Still I love the casting and the actors themselves have never let me down. It's more the story and plot changes that have ruined it for me.
