It seems like he was very popular on the set. For the love of Gawd can they please stop talking about Tom Phelphry and that stupid show Ozarak.

Do you know where I can find the episode with Chelsea being strangled in the car? 1 hour ago, titan1978 said: If you mean Frank’s tight jeans and the possibility of seeing Chelsea in increasing danger- then yes. The only thing I like about her is Maureen lol. Thank you I will look for it! More for Chelsea being in danger since I hated the character.
June 25, 20205 yr Member I will say the stalker story with Chelsea was well written and involved quite a few characters. It made sense Dana was thought to be the stalker since she had pretended to be Beth months earlier..though I'd forgotten Holly was briefly a suspect. Shame the show didn't at least do a Frank and Holly hook up..they had chemistry
June 25, 20205 yr Member As someone who was watching live when Anna Stuart temped for Maeve Kinkead, let me just say she was FABULOUS from Day One and I didn’t miss Maeve for a second. And I LOVE Maeve. I’m sure it’s because Vanessa was still a “newish” character and not, y’know, established for twenty years. But Anna Stuart could’ve stayed FOREVER and I would’ve never looked back.

No real celebration. Just detached clips at the end of each episode that week and the actors seemed depressed while presenting them. And it was strange that it was in July and not in January on the actual anniversary. It was a low time for GL. I remember watching the Daytime Emmys that year and there was a camera shot of the GL table. They had a "50 years" sign on the table but that was the extent of an acknowledgement if I recall correctly. The actors even looked depressed at the table. The 60th anniversary and even the 70th anniversary were handled much better. I think the best anniversary show the soaps have ever done was ATWT's 30th. That's how an anniversary show (or week) should be done. Did soaps even do anniversary shows before that? I can't think of any before 1986 for any soap. ATWT’s 30th, Another World’s 25th and All My Children’s 25th were the best anniversary celebrations by far. I don’t get why these milestones aren’t celebrated more.

It helped that Vanessa was still a childish bitch around this time. Ironically Anna's Donna would go through the same reformation process Vanessa did, a few years after Vanessa did, although Vanessa's "stuck," whereas Donna would go back and forth. I can't remember if Anna played out the end of the Ed/Vanessa story. (still so weird to think they were a couple and that Vanessa was desperate to get him and to keep him - I don't remember this being mentioned in later years)
June 25, 20205 yr Member Does anyone remember scenes between Amelia Marshall (Gilly) and Beverlee McKinsey? I was listening to Amelia's podcast interview and she talked a bit about her first scenes with Bev, I don't think I've ever seen those.

I do love Jean Carol - I will try to see it for her if I'm on then. I hope someone will ask her about Six Feet Under and about her brief returns to GL. Justin Klosky - that's the guy who had the huge horse teeth that Conboy was trying to push as a hot new star, right? Edited June 26, 20205 yr by DRW50

My gaydar is going off the charts. The teeth don't look so big. Justin's looking good. Edited June 26, 20205 yr by victoria foxton
