Ain't that the truth? And speaking of that coma, I have to admit to finding a sick sense of amusement when the nurse mistakenly told Zach that Kendall woke up, and he goes running in there with a huge smile on his face... only to find the bitch was still knocked out! :P Kendall had become so impossible by that point that I had no sympathy for her or her "loved ones" at all. Now, it's even worse! I really do wish ABC played hardball in this instance, because Zendall is the death of this show. Not changing coasts, not losing Opal, not even losing Erica... Because even if everyone went out to Los Angeles happily and willingly, as long as they continue to focus this show around this toxic ass couple, it's doomed. Two immensely unlikeable, selfish, offensive characters are not something people want to invest in. Well... people with any type of sense, anyway...

Sinclair, I knew you would be pleased as punch when you learned of McBeth.

As for Frons' decision that the show can't live without Zendull, I won't be watching so I guess it does not matter. This duo has killed the show, and we forsake all others for them? What kind of horse sh!t is that?

On the bright side, TK won't be soiling OLTL. It's true, there is a silver lining behind every cloud!

I figured the exit was more mutual than just ABC sending her on her way. She probably said something like "I'll go if you actually give me a storyline." And they said back, "We're still not sure what to do with you." And the rest is history, lol.

I have a feeling they will recast Colby AND Petey. I don't see how they could conceivably write them out together at this point, and writing both out would seem contrived. Also, I think ABC knows how much they wanted a Colby recast as well as to keep Petey around. Since they don't want to relocate Daniel Kennedy (and it sounds like his real estate business is thriving in NY, anyway), they'll test chemistry with two whole new people and most likely age them a bit. Just my two cents.

But at least the other stories are, one, not the main focal point 4-5 days a week, and, two, show some progression. I may not like how convenient and contrived it is, but at least the Madison v. Hubbards storyline is moving. The David/Amanda/Jake/Trevor storyline has definitely progressed since the beginning of the summer. Even that horrid mess of Ryanica moved to the next level. Zendall, on the other hand, has barely moved. It's still days and days of her being in that box and the two of them arguing over the same thing. Or her sneaking out of that box and standing in the living room eavesdropping.

I see what you mean, but I wonder how much of that has to do with setting up the maternity leave. When Kendall was in her coma and got the new heart, the Zendall story moved, it just moved in the same plot-driven, cold and unpleasant way most of the stories move.
