I loved Klute (some scenes in that movie still creep me out). Loved all that 70s paranoia cinema -- All The President's Men, Chinatown and 3 Days of the Condor, etc. But I can see how Fonda's I-inherited-daddy's-jutting-jawline could turn people off. She is a polarizing actress who was so strident in her day.

I don't see how Vasi = Bree in Klute, though! Maybe if they stuck some awful shag wig on Randi..?

As do I! IMO, the '70's were the decade for groundbreaking, truly American cinema. Nothing even comes close.
