I'm sorry for the woman who lost all her possessions and work from the fire, and I feel like any other statement ends up downplaying her loss, which is not my intent, but this just has me so down.  I am glad if Anne is at peace, shallow as that is to say. but the last week has felt so fast and so, so wrong.

Anne is one of the best actors soaps ever had and I hope someday that is how people can remember her.

Couldn't said it better myself.

To go with what @vetsoapfan said in the ATWT thread about Jacqueline Courtney mentioning in an old interview that she had various episodes, I know Laurie Heineman said in the late '90s that she had had to buy the episode that ended up winning  her an Emmy.

I wish there was some way to know if these episodes are still around and to preserve them. Not to shame the people who spend their time and effort on those archives, but it's jarring sometimes to remember that people have invested far more in finding and restoring no-budget pornos filmed in rundown apartments in the '50s, '60s and '70s than has been spent on finding and salvaging old soap episodes that kept their networks solvent for years and years.

Anne Heche was literally one of the best actresses in any genre that I have ever seen. She just happened to grace Daytime back then. Her Vicky Hudson was a force of nature, and she imbued Marley with a wistful soulfulness, too. One of my favorite heroines of all time.

Anne Heche was such a talent, she seemed to have a lot of sensitivity and humanity. For me, the tragedy is that she wrestled with terrible personal demons and now it ends this way. So many people suffer trauma which has ongoing ripple effects across years, decades, generations. I wish we could offer better ways to heal. 😥

Actress Olga Bellin is credited, I learned this afternoon, as playing Ann Fuller on Another World.

Could someone identify this character?

Couldn’t have eulogized her better myself. Well said Carl!

I hate her life ended in such a tragic senseless mess but I do hope Anne is at peace as well.

So sad about Anne Heche.  I was a year or so late for her original AW run, but I'm so glad I got to watch most all of it on SoapNet.  Those clips above are great.  I have no words.

And the news about RGW...I had no idea she was ill, but I always had a soft spot for her characterization of Maggie, if not the stories (the writing for the character got so much worse after she left).

The YT account for the Dearly Departed site uploaded a video 3 days ago actually showing the house that Anne Heche had crashed into up close. This was obviously just before her death as she is mentioned as being ill in the hospital.
