Stephen Schnezer and Nancy Snyder's son Ben is doing fantastic work on The Madison. Hopefully, he can get one or both an appearance.

I remember when Tom Lisanti's Texas book came out he mentioned that he had a lot of Another World-related material left over that he intended to publish in a new book. He expects it to be out later this year.

It covers a very narrow time period but hopefully it will be interesting.

"The book covers Another World from 1978 to 1982, what led up to it going to 90 minutes (with chapters on the failed soaps Lovers and Friends and For Richer, For Poorer); what went on while it was 90 minutes; and the return to 60 minutes up until EP Paul Rauch left in early 1983."

That sounds like an interesting read! So much of that abysmal period in AW history ties in with NBC's general woes during the Fred Silverman era, when it seemed like everything the network even THOUGHT about doing failed and failed hard.

Ten - PRG (August 1990)

I never can remember AW's history in other countries (beyond Canada). Here's a clip from Australia. I guess they must have been a year or two behind.

Never knew it aired in Australia. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks @Paul Raven Now if only some Australian tapes from 1979 or 1980 (rare as they would be) could pop up to give us some glimpses of late Lemay.

I was just about to write this exact thing... or a similar statement. How this gives me just a little more hope that things have survived. Thank you @Paul Raven
