Either that, or Todd's just making it look like he's reformed and lying about going to therapy. With Todd, you never know.

ITA and to be honest, I just assumed he was lying to Vicki to get her help.

One of the reasons I thought the Jared scam was so good is that it did tie into so many different plots. Dorian's BE takeover scheme, Nash's vineyard problems, Charlie's relationship with Viki, Rex's paternity issues and of course just the Jared and Natalie piece. It was far reaching beyond the obvious. And it was easy (if you chose) to understand that they were planning to tell, that there were all these unforseen consequences dangling out there that they were totally oblivious to, and that when the ish hit the fan, they were as tragically impacted as almost anyone. The unravelling of their lies (once they made the decision to tell) caught up to them in a matter of days.

The baby swap by comparison is very simplistic and contrived. No one besides Jessica, Starr and Marcie are being written as impacted by the reveal. Cole, is totally left out in the cold. The grandparents, Blair, Marty and Todd, are all being written as so embedded in other stories that we don't really even remember that they have any relationship to this baby. The solution is equally simple and obvious. Jared and Natalie look like fools because they don't just go and share the information with Jessica's doctor, who may be the idiot who released her from St. Ann's when she is clearly not really integrated, but he's still the expert on how to handle the situation with the minimal fallout. I haven't heard one person anywhere post that they believe Jared and Natalie are making the right decision if they don't tell. That's a problem. We should be kind of torn, and I don't know anyone, including me (a HUGE Jared and Natalie fan) who is. We're all screaming "TELL SOMEONE!".

This is just bad storytelling and I'm so disappointed. I realize that this is sort of a second tier story and sometimes they simply don't rate the development that the prime stories (Rex's paternity, Shane's leukemia, Blair/John/Marty) do. But sadly, the prime stories aren't being developed that intricately or cleverly either. If they were, I am enough of a fan of the entire show that I could go along for the ride (this time).

Yes, I do agree but isn't it possible that this story will transform as we approach the next arc? RC could very well layer the interactions of the principle characters into this story. I'm assuming that the pacing of this story is by design.

Anything's possible. You could be right. Unfortunately, that doesn't help make today's show more entertaining for me. I'm just not enjoying it right now.

Today's show is really off for me. I don't know what it is, but I always get this feeling when Lennon does scripts. The whole "dream sequence" with Natalie, just didn't do any justice for me.

Oh how cute, maybe Destiny and Shawn will get parents too!

Every time Shane furls his brow I cringe and think that bald cap is gonna peel! :o

I took it as a quick Todd lie to get Viki's help.

I am going to admit something, I am only 20 minutes into todays DVR but I miss Stacey. I am starting to really enjoy her evil and I am rooting for her to destroy Gigi!

She is horribly written and being force-fed to the audience but its getting fun with her. This show has been missing a good old fashioned female villianess for a long time.

RTR! What happened?

Poor Natalie. I'm so tired of the melodrama with the Buchanan sisters. When the truth comes out I hope this won't lead to more of Natalie being ostracized until she faces another near-death experience (possibly at the hand of Tess or Bess) and all is forgiven.

I can see why they didn't want the boy who plays Shane to shave his head, but the skull cap shouldn't be quite so obvious.

Harlem- I have been watching the most awesome videos on Youtube of Maria Roberts and I realized how much I miss a badly written over the top evil villianess. I find Gigi (and the actress's half assed attempts at emotion) more annoying than Stacey. Neither chick can act and I am going to choose the one who is fun. And that's Stacey. She had me roaring the other day. She is just plain evil and sick. She is way to evil to last so I am gonna enjoy her instead of hate her. If OLTL cannot grasp Bill Bell 101- Introduce a character slowly- then I might as well enjoy this girl. OLTL is alot more watchable than most other shows. I gave up on Y&R- its the soap version of paint drying. I don't even miss it. I have stuck with these shows for sentimental reasons- not because I like them in their present states. Like I said- Stacey is bad soap writing. She is not even a character but a caricature being used to cause conflict for Rex and Gigi.

The make up department did a HORRIBLE job with putting that thing on Shane's head. Shame on them! Couldn't OLTL offer the kid some money to shave his head?

Good for Gigi slapping that evil bitch of a sister

ITA! I hate that little bitch!

lol There was that one little piece of the baldcap that looked like it was about to let loose. The Brody/Shane scenes were some of the only well written scenes today but the bald cap was jarring.

i think Antonio should give Shane his toupee before he leaves town.

I totally agree about Stacey...She's nothing but evil so it's fun for me to watch her....So now Tea is defending in some sense two of Todd's exes...this should be interesting. I'm just excited to see FL in more scenes with Susan and Kassie.

I was sickened by the previews for tomorrow when I saw Stacy, Rex, Starr and Schuyler (why do I have to think before I spell that guy's name?) This isn't a popular opinion on SON but I'm sick of Rex and Starr. I don't mind Sch . . SKYLAR but I'd rather he interacted with a whole different set of actors. I always feel the need to bathe when I see Stacy.
