A little more Quinn, Santana, Briitany and Puck(who looks about 35) wold have made the first hour a little better.

I was glad to see Becky in the finale, as well as Figgins. The final routine should have been a little slower with the camera, I can see Rory not being there, but Marley was the center of the season she was there. I heard the actress landed a new role. Maybe she was filming for that? Still, she probably wouldn't have gotten the new show had she not been on Glee.

All in all, I mostly watched the last few seasons without paying close attention, they weren't that great. A little too much of "ST. Kurt" as you guys said. Nothing against the actor, but they overdid it with him.

Its too bad the show didn't ask the guest stars back. Would have been nice to have Holly Holiday or to see Kate Hudson' Cassanda at the Tony's. I thought both were excellent on the show, and Hudson especially really worked her songs. They brought back Carol Burnett (whose voice is fading) so they could have done something with some of the others.

Glee hit it's commercial and influential peak probably around the second season, at around season four it just became increasingly trendy and focused too much on other popular properties in a bid for notoriety before just devolving into the Rachel Berry show, which it always was, but at least before it had more to say. Trying to find a dramatic height of the show is difficult, because it's last few seasons feel so muddled but it's self acceptance message was pretty much the bread and butter of the series, along with finding love, so the "Born This Way" and "Furt" episodes seems to be right in the heart of the series and what the series kind of represented. As to the biggest star of the show I feel that's Lea Michelle, she's been the pet of Ryan Murphy for so long that it's hard to deny, and she is the one who got most of the nominations, sang most of the songs, the most airtime and seems to be argued as the most talented.

Not shocked. Other GLEE actors are supporting Samantha's claims. Even actors she never worked with in S6

This has me wondering what her 18 months doing Spring Awakening was like for that cast

@John Just hastag Spring Awakening on your Twitter.  To read some hot piping tea about Miss Lea.  Never got a good vibe about her. But wasn't expecting this. With Corey ODing,  Mark committing suicide. Instead doing time for child pornography. Now Lea being a racist. I don't think i'm every going to watch reruns of Glee ever.

    • Thanks, msn drives me nuts on the one hand but on the other hand their headlines appeal to me. And, I just don't do FoxNews.
    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archivedcopy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
    • I felt for Ted early on but as the story unfolded it has changed my opinion on him. To know he was cheating while his wife was struggling to give him a baby is a lot to deal with. Plus, this happened ages ago and still he's paying Leslie off and threatening her to leave town.  What really caused me to lose him in this episode was how even though he was busted, he still refused to take responsibility and come clean and the way he talked to Martin and Eva was terrible. To tell Smitty he better get Martin away from him when that is his SON who he used to cover up his affair? That is true dog behavior. Ted seems upset he got caught but I'm not seeing the remorse I would need to want Nicole to forgive him. I'm curious how I'll feel after Ted gets to talk to Nicole but I need him to fix it with the rest of the family as well.
