No comments from you? LOL...I hadnt even realized it came back till you bumped this up. Watching it now and its not as awful as I expected

LMAO at Rachel's sitcom failing and being described as the worst show ever with a 0.0 rating share. DAMN!

I actually liked it. I wish it had a 16 episode to 20 episode order though so we could get to know the new five better. They could two episodes back to back on fridays and have it over in 10 weeks still.

i still hope Ryder, Jake & Marley appear in the final episodes. They have filmed 10 so far and they have yet to film scenes.

I just cant believe Blaine would date Dave

Yes Dave has changed & Blaine may be hurt that Kurt dumped him but to date the guy who threatened to kill the man you were gonna marry? Screams plot point and makes Blaine even more un likeable to me.

And then getting mad at Kurt & Rachel cause Jame transfers to McKinley for ND

If I were Jane I wouldnt want to be forced on the Warblers either. They would never let her do anything. Jane made the right choice

Blaine's confronting them about made it made him sound like a big baby,

It was better than I expected, and I was surprised the Quinn actress came back. The guy who plays Puck looks like he's at least thirty-five. Sue is still a monster. Becky continues to crack me up. I thought it should have gone off the air when they graduated, but this last season can be okay, if they tone it down a little. Didn't give a flying fig about Blaine/Porcelain, as they are so boring, it's like watching paint dry. I called Koroffsky five minutes before he showed up.

The new Kids: The Bobbsey twins(Flowers in the Attic) were a little creepy. The girl was all right. The big guy was me in high school. so I approve and the football player, I guess they need a prick!

Overall, not a bad Friday show, but I'd rather watch 5-O or Grimm. I'll keep it on the DVR.

I felt sorry for the girl who was not allowed in the Warblers, but I do think the Warblers allowing in a girl would destroy their harmonies and the uniformity which is their whole appeal. Her voice would not work with them.

As for the show itself I guess it is time to put it to bed, but back in season 2 I loved it. The initial Kurt Blaine story was excellent.

I liked Kurt before Blaine, but Blaine is just toooooooooooooooooooo needy! They've been writing him that way for a while, and should have let him realize it last year. Then I would be able to root \for their re-coupling. I hope I didn't offend anyone with my last post, but this story went on last year.

I loved Rachel's fall from grace! Too fitting. Her rendition of Let It Go was very good. That coming from a guy w/ 2 nieces that sing the song 24/7!

After the debacle that was the fifth-season finale, I gave up on Glee but decided to stick with it till the end. That said, here are some thoughts on the first two episodes:

- I like the new kids; they're not retreads of the original cast like Unique, Kitty, Ryder, Jake, and Marley were. That said, I hope we see that group reappear before the end.

- That's So Rachel was painful to watch. Very painful to watch.

- Why the hell was the computer lab named the Becky Jackson Memorial Computer Lab? When I saw that, I immediately assumed they had killed off Becky. Very odd since the character is still alive.

- Sam seems more dim-witted than ever. I don't recall him being this dim in earlier seasons.

Wow, Harry Hamlin what happened to your career?

Did HH ever act on anything after LA Law? I didn't care for this bizarro episode at all with the drones and hypnotism and whatnot. Sue's interest in Klaine is out of nowhere. The episode really suffered with only the few regulars too. WEHT Artie, Mike Chang and even little Puckerman. He was the only good thing about the next gen glee.

Hamlin's done a lot of guest roles. He was on Shameless recently as another old gay man. He was on Veronica Mars and Mad Men at one point too.

For someone who complained at length about how playing gay kills your career, he sure leans on it to pay the bills.

    • Cady McClain said the same thing with her hairdos - she switched it up so much because she was either unhappy or bored.  Kim must have been unhappy in 1996 because she has so many different short styles, it's wild (haha).
    • She definitely was trying new things with her hair and makeup in the 1986 scenes I saw so it tracks. Rauch wouldn't have been there, but it just strikes me as a conversation Rauch would have had with her with when he was at GL. Rauch loved to badmouth JC. So she put it in the book as if she had been told at the time. It's like how she has Michelle Forbes on GL years before she actually arrives or Ellen Wheeler firing people who had been fired yrs. before by Rauch or Conboy.
    •   From what actors have said, Y&R has been very busy taping the upcoming storyline, and that was up to and including the week of Diamont's party, and after.
    • Well, a good number of sets were up when I was there, but there was a limited number of people around. Even Y&R seemed dead, but maybe everyone was out for lunch at the time? I remember driving from the parking lot and preparing to enter the roadway when I saw Michelle Stafford and Christian LeBlanc returning from what I think was their lunch break. Not sure where they went or were coming from.
    • A scene I cannot wait to see. Julie Harris as Liliemae is the gift that keeps on giving; she's not outright evil, but frustrating, and in her own way, still pretty lovable.
    • Kim used to say that you can tell when she was unhappy because she would try weird or new things with her hair.  I don't think Rauch was at OLTL at the time Zimmer was but their producer at the time probably wasn't much of a peach either.
    • I wonder if less set use was preparing for the move. They probably were preparing for this for awhile now
    • The early part of the season is decent. After that, Season 9 is one of the worst seasons until season 13. Season 10 is a little worse.    That would have made sense, even if it cost us one of my favorite scenes (Ben putting Lilliemae in a headlock). That's an excellent storyline and leads to the show's last strong season finale.
    • The TVC Studio 31 that they used for 38 years was only about 13,730 sq ft., according to the TVC website specs: https://televisioncityla.com/stages-offices/ Sunset Las Palmas Studios has 11 sound stages, which go up to 20,000 sq ft., though we're yet to learn which of those sound stages will house B&B. Depending on which one, the specs for it can be found here: https://www.sunsetstudios.com/los-angeles/las-palmas-studios/ Sound Stages 4, 5 and 9 are available for use starting September 1, 2025. It's unclear if either of those stages would be used by B&B since they begin production there starting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, which would be before the date shown on the website, but we shall see. Of those three sound stages, only Sound Stage 4 and 5 make sense since they are larger than the specs the show had at TVC, while 9 is quite smaller.  Sound Stage 4 would be the best option overall for B&B since it has 18,819 sq ft., the largest individual sound stage at the lot - Stage 3 and Stage 8 share space, which combined makes the space 19,900 sq ft. --- Forgot to add, unless there was an issue with storing the sets, the changes at TVC should have had no issue with production on the show, resulting in fewer set use as there has been no movement in terms of construction that would impact either show (B&B/Y&R). Of the 2-3 times I've been at the studio, the most recent for Don Diamont's 40 years at CBS, it was the most dead I had ever seen the space, but that could be due to vacations, holidays, or the preparation of the B&B move.
    • I didn't post about it in the BtG thread as I still don't watch the show (an hour runtime is just too much for me right now with a new soap I can't just mostly skip through) but I can't imagine the ego of someone who is hired as a breakdown writer and decides to [!@#$%^&*] their own name all over the show. Classless beyond belief. Any writer who cares more about masturbatory behavior than quality of work should not be hired.
