Has there ever been a writer on DAYS named Anne Toole? I found her linked to two episodes on IMDB from 2004 and I didn't see a profile for her in The Writers and Directors thread but I wanted to double checked before I had her removed.

Ahh...but you should've check the Episode Writer and Directors forum. ;)

Anne Toole wrote 2 episodes in December 2004. She was a Writers Assistant from 2003 (possibly 2002) to 2006 (last listed on July 24).

Awesome, thanks for clearly that up. I though of the forum after I posted my question.

Looks like Lloyd Gold and David Kreizman are heading to ATWT as breakdown writers in August.

Maybe Jill Lorie Hurst can be HW? Who will lose their jobs as a result of this? Or does this mark a return of BDW to ATWT?

Apparently, it does make the return of the Breakdown position at ATWT, at least, according to DC.

But seeing as a 6th grader could probably write a better show than what ATWT currently is, I'm not even hopeful that the return of this position can help this show.

So the shows that got rid of the breakdown position have all seen the error of their ways except for AMC, which probably needs it the most. AMC desperately needs people to flesh out Pratt's ideas, provide some structure to the episodes, and maintain some degree of consistency.

I wonder who the writer is that Pratt claimed he wanted from GL but didn't think it would happen.

Isn't ATWT cancelled?

Not yet. But give or take a year or two and voila, it will be gone.

Damn! Two of my August teasers are spilled! Why do I have to wait while others can spill right away? :(

I know the feeling.

It sucks.

ATWT needs to bring back the breakdown position. Those aren't the two GL writers I would pick.

The news is just awful. Out of all the people they could have chosen. It's obvious P&G or CBS or Bloom don't give two shits what happens to ATWT.

I thought of you immediately when I heard this news, RH. I'm so, so sorry. Seriously, of all the GL writers, those are the two they picked for ATWT's last year? It's so depressing. I really am sorry. You have my condolences.

I'm hoping for Author of exquisite, psychologically compelling stage plays is hired to HeadWrite CBS' The Young and the Restless. The passionate writer is expected to make radical changes on the sudser's writing team and to bring the show back to its lovable roots. Also, Executive Producer change!

And, for B&B: Bradley Bell steps down! Long search for the person to take his position.
