This is going to tank another pre-baked narrative. I said I felt media backlash and poor polling about Biden was peaking too soon for the midterms, and I think i was right.

At the end of the day, the majority of Americans don't care about what the (right-leaning) media cares about.  It's like what Bill Clinton said back in the dark ages: "It's the economy, stupid."  All that matters is whether folks have jobs, and whether those jobs pay well and deliver benefits for themselves and their loved ones.  Period.

Which is why the runaway inflation narrative is almost constantly being pushed, rather than the very real story, which is that, in the midst of all this misery, the billionaires made money hand over fist, while still neglecting to pay their fair share of the tax burden.
