ICAM.

At this point, I think disclaimers and factoids should accompany any public statements made by Trump.  Sort of like Garrett Morris' "News for the Hard of Hearing" character from SNL, or "Angry Obama" from "Key & Peele."

I don't know what to say about Jussie's attack either.  Yes, it was awful to read about; but, in this day and age, when you have a president who emboldens citizens to commit those and other atrocities, should we really be surprised when something like that occurs?

Doubtful. Foxconn was the icing on the cake for Walker and the taxpayer giveaway of billions was what ended up costing Walker the election. Will the GOP spin it of course. I don't think folks in Wisconsin will buy it other than those that never really cared anyway.

But this was also round 2 for Foxconn I believe. Didn't they pull out of a "great" deal in Pennsylvania too?

Sherrod Brown does a very good job of talking about the working class without dismissing the women and the POC that make up so much of it. A lot of people in politics and the media would do well to follow his example. So many think of the white male coal miner when they hear "working class." They don't think about the retail worker or the nurse or the day care worker.

(Disclaimer: Sherrod and his wife are friends of mine so I willingly admit to not being unbiased where he's concerned.)

    • I actually view Ashley as deeply repressed and not in touch with what she's truly feeling, needing, and wanting.  She's more OCD/repressed than 'Type A'..imho.
    • That was weird how the fans were saying Kat should be a detective, and it shows up in the script the very next day.
    • Well....gotta have ducks.  lol
    • YES!  Glad it worked out - now Leslie is with Eva and Kat with her Dad. And they didn't have to rearrange the other opening at all.
    • Sad to hear that Joe Don Baker has passed away. I loved the original version of Walking Tall and I've seen it multiple times. I remember watching it for the very first time at 13-years-old at my grandparents' house and being so enraptured by the film. At least he lived a pretty good and long life and he had a very solid and memorable career, so there's that. I hope he rests in peace.
    • Seeing Guza and Julie Hanan names on my TV screen just takes me back to high school. Sweet memories. I know the feeling.  I am finally jumping on the bandwagon about Leslie not being Eva's mother.

that was fast! And I love that he's still next to Leslie, Kat and Eva   at least she does her laundry!
    • Carter and Daphne can both be written out; I caught the end because I’m off work.     Thank god for everything you did for Hope, Carter.  The way she - as an Attorney / realized Ridhe nor Eric, nor anyone ever checks Hope’s paperwork because she’s such a trusted attorney.  What a terrible thing and idea and you Carter, you tried to talk her out of it at first but then as she bulled forward - yep, you backed it.     Oh wait.  Totally opposite — YOUUU were the attorney with the idea.     that is so unbelievably dumb. What is the point?
    • Oh yeah, definitely! I actually like this storyline because it's very realistic and we are definitely starting to see the cracks in Ashley and Derek's relationship. I also like that they are finally starting to develop Ashley as a character and putting her in scenes with her mom Jan also helps a lot. I'm not so sure about Ashley and Andre as a couple though and I'm also still sort of on the fence about Andre/Dani too. Maybe if the writers continue to flesh out Ashley as a character and give her a real purpose outside of Derek and Jan I might eventually warm up to them as a couple if the writers actually intend for them to be a real thing long term. I'm not entirely convinced that Andre/Dani are in it for the long haul and I feel like they should have kept Andre as a womanizing lothario because at least he would have something of a personality.
