Democrats weren't supposed to lose in 2016 either.

The media and the money men would love to see them lose, and I imagine that "activists" like AOC would as well. She craves media attention and validation - like her pal Bernie, she's an opportunist. Sadly many liberals are more than happy to use her as their avatar, likely because most of them also hate the party and hate actually doing real work to change it.

Preach it Carl. I'm not some idiot frat girl in a horror movie sequel.   I won't believe this nightmare is over until I see this administration buried in front of my eyes.

We've been in crazy town for two years, but today is the kind of day where it just seems like it can't be real.  I imagine Mattis was one of the people charged with tackling 45 if he goes for the nukes.

This is a pretty good 60 Minutes (for the most part) that will remind you just how far the media, and CBS News, have fallen, but the most interesting part is the absolutely scorching anti-gun remarks at 52 minutes in the "Jane, you ignorant slut" segment. That would never, ever be on TV today.

I will be very interested to see how people respond.  I will obviously get onboard if he's the nominee, but I'm not feeling this peace and love stuff myself.

I agree with you on the peace and love stuff but with Booker it seems to be genuine. He's always been this way even when he was Newark's mayor and the truth is there is a part of the electorate that still responds to the call for us to appeal to our better angels. I'm not one of them of course. Booker wants peace and love. I want trials and executions.

Yes, I think it's real too. I wish I could be that type of person, but I'm with you. Off with their heads (figuratively).

Cory Booker is one of those politicians who likely is genuine but comes across as phony to me when I see them on TV. I get John Edwards flashbacks.
