Count me in as someone who loathes Cane: his character is an INSULT to this show's history IMHO, and should leave the canvas ASAP. And to think he should fit in Cricket's age range (since real Phillip did), and instead he's banging Lily.

Had they really wanted to bring in a new Chancellor, they should have hired a younger actor to play Phillip III (Nina's son).

Unfortunately, I just get the feeling that they will keep DG on the show for a VERY LONG time...

This spoiler is some very good news:

Nick is leaving Restless style and will be returning to Newman Enperprises. He leaves Nikki and Phyllis to run Restless Style, let's see how long that lasts, since Nikki and Phyllis aren't fond of one another.

It's amazing how good Lily is when it comes to Colleen and their issues, and how much she totally sucks when she's with Cane and practically everyone else.

Today's show was well done from a production standpoint. I liked the Billy/Chole location flashbacks. Had this been Giffith and Morina alone, we'd probably get some cheap ass backdrop. LOL! I'm glad Paul and Maria took the effort to go on location somewhere in LA for this.

I actually enjoyed today, with the exception of Lily and Cane, those two just stick out in the worst possible way for me.

ICAM. I thought today's show was very well done.

OK, so Tuesday's show. Technically, IMHO, it's great. The music is wonderful. The lighting perfect for Y&R. Wow.

I'm loving the Chloe/Billy scenes. And for the first time in a loooong time, I'm enjoying Nick and Phyllis too. Their love scene came across as very natural and it's working for me. Even Jack and Sharon (never been a big fan of them) are having some fantastic scenes.

I'm so diggin' it, people! :):)

I agree. Tuesday's show was fantastic! I loved the breakdown of this episode, having a big storm with "couples" being together. You had Nick/Phyllis, Jack/Sharon, Chloe/Billy, Lily/Cane, and Jana/Kevin/Amber/Daniel. You could also tell this was probably Nick/Phyllis and Jack/Sharon's last hurrah, their last "romantic" episode. Loved the Chloe/Billy scenes and their meeting in flasbhacks, then at the end, "I never expected to fall your father." YES!! :D I hate Lily/Cane but even thought their scenes were nice......and then Billy catching them. The script was fine too, so this was a good start for Amanda Beall.

Yeah, I also agree that the production was very good in this episode.

Cane and Lily are dumbasses for getting into an elevator in the middle of a bad storm.

Regarding this spoiler, it works well, since

Morrow CLEARLY wasn't comfortable talking about fashion, etc. The Nikki-Phyllis thing will be haughty and fun.

I have been on the anti-Khalil bandwagon lately, but I found her elevator scenes to be quite good.

Honestly, until you mentioned it, I don't think I'd give the storm two thoughts myself...I'd have just gotten in the elevator.

Was that a new security desk today at the beginning of the episode while Lily was at Jabot? I don't think I've seen it before.

I also just saw a clip from tomorrow's episode, it looks like Rauch had one of the small offices at Newman redesigned. Neil, Nick, and Victoria were in those scenes, by the way.

Is this the scene your talking about?

If so, it looks like they just took the break room, closed all the doors and removed some of the furniture.

^Yes, that's the one, it does look like they redesigned the break room.

I guess it's Niel's office? It does look similar to the one Dru and Phyllis shared a while back, without the window though.

Cane/Lily.........Ugh!!! Why haven't the writers killed this LML creation, yet??!!!

LOL Lane has staying power. A new couple that survived a strike and regime change. TPTB know Lily and Cane have a fanbase. I think they will always be in each others realm even when apart.

I like to know why the guy that plays Cane think Lame were so hot.

And I'd like to know why you are in denial about the FACT that Lane is popular. And with all due respect, I think DG would have a better idea of how popular Lane is than you do.
