Members DRW50
Sorry to hear this. While I know he had some regrets about the show later on, I loved his work as Nicholas Blair. He and Lara made some very thin scripts tolerable in the Cassandra/vampire Angelique period.
Members DRW50
I'd never seen this before - it's a short interview toward the end of this, Joan Bennett talking about nearly being cast as Scarlett O'Hara. It's a few years before she died, and I tend to wonder if it was filmed when she was at a Dark Shadows convention, as I recognize the outfit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVcths8K8RI

Members amybrickwallace
Thanks for posting those, Carl. Lara Parker had such beautiful hair that it was only natural for her to appear in a shampoo commercial.

Members Scrapple
TMC aired both Dark Shadows movies last night. The first "House Of Dark Shadows" was very good. The second , "Night Of Dark Shadows"...not so much. "House" kind of put the whole Barnabas saga in a nutshell, with better special effects and no bloopers. "Night" had no Barnabas, only Quentin as a lead, and a ponderous pace. It was interesting to see "Introducing Kate Jackson" in the credits, though.
Members amybrickwallace
I think it would have just as rabid a (pardon the pun) fan base. The acting and writing still holds up.
