This is my official vote for the Jen Rappaport needs to be alive storyline

Ugh, gawd please NO! Jenn had to be one of the worst characters around, the actress was also horrid

I'll be honest. I was dreading the "Who wants to be Shane Morasco's father?" scenes. Sunset Beach did something similar and it was hilarious. But OLTL isn't SuBe. Thankfully, the entire episode was a pleasure to watch. Ty would make a GREAT gameshow host, by the way. And I loved the way it dovetailed into Who is Rex's father? I'm hoping the answer is a certain character played by a Mr. R. Born!

The whole episode was excellent. I *hated* Farah Fath on Days but she really convinced me she was a mom yesterday -- albeit a somewhat selfish one. I really felt for Shane when he pleaded with her that Brody was really messed-up right now and alone in a cell. Loved seeing Roxy, too.

The Nat/Tess scenes felt like they had some momentum to them. Natalie getting under Tess's skin via Bree was amazing ("When this whole thing is over? It will be OVER" -- Natalie indicating that Tess will either be in St Anne's or banished to some dark corner of Jessica's psyche).

I know it's unfashionable to be liking Carlivati right now but I am into OLTL this week. And considering this was only a Wednesday epiosde -- not bad.

Ty is a game show host, lol. Last season, he hosted the syndicated show "Merv Griffin's Crosswords," but it went on hiatus for this season...some stations still air last season's episodes...some just dropped it.

Roxy is killing me today. I love that old broad.

When the Todd/Marty story is played like it is today I really enjoy it. Very gothic. And yes, the piano playing, etc scenes were a little too cute but I also liked those because for me, the echo to the past was of Marty during the rape, flashing back to her own childhood piano lessons, escaping into that memory to avoid what Todd was doing to her.

I can't wait for Marty to take him down.

I think at best, Marty found a picture...of Todd's old face. How she couldn't have time to read the caption is a stretch though.

I find it funny people are nitpicking the e-mail/cell phone stuff. How many of you had internet or cell phone service in 1998? To be fair, those technologies didn't take off and become common place until the early Aughts. We take them for granted now, which is a shame considering that without either some people don't know how to act--as if they forgot how life was less than 10 years ago. It was special to go to someone's house who had dial-up. It was crazy to see someone with the slightly smaller version of Zach Morris' cell phone.

Today's episode is starting. Time to grab some lunch and watch before I have to get back to reviews.

Yeah, Marty searching about the rape on the computer was really good. Talk about suspense.....and a cliffhanger and the end! I agree that this storyline is at its best when it's dark and gothic and has creepy music playing in the background.

Also, I liked it when Bo said, "Brody's a good man." Glad to see Brody's not being throwned under the bus like the way Logan Hayes was (and still is!).

Yeah those who thought Brody was being thrown under the bus for Rex and Gigi should all be eating crowe by now.

I enjoyed the Bo scenes today. I enjoyed watching him assist Gigi when Roxy was overwhelming Shane and I enjoyed his talk with shane. I guess he is doing it because Rex is like a son to him.

Tye Treadway (Colin): Tune in next time as "Brody will face a new challenger, Todd Manning" Foreshadowing or fun? Either way as long as they are both shirtless.

Loved the cliffhangers:

1)Marty looking up her rapists

2)Rex opening his eyes to see Bitchy Bangs! Damn her. BRING IT ON ADRIANA!! :P:)

Another thing I have to point out is that, this whole game sequence was a nice twist to the same old, recycled, tired plot point of having a main character go to heaven, look back on their life, and come out of this having some sort of epiphany(Viki, Tad AMC). I'm not saying that all characters have an out of body experience, but it was nice and quite original plot point to use.

AMC did it first with Janet from another Planet's "This is Your Life" sequence ;)

St John doesn't do shirtless scenes :P

Haha....I liked how Nora turned around, had that shocked look on her face, and then came the 5-4-3-2-1 countdown to the ABC News Special Report.

Talk about bad timing.
