If KL had been about four young/newlywed couples living in the same cul-de-sac, Kenny and Ginger might've had more story.  Unfortunately, as I've said in the past, the inclusion of Gary and Val made the Wards redundant.

Where can I continue to watch the show? Bc it’s definitely off of Prime now and only available to purchase. In what universe do you expect people to watch a 14-season, 344-episode series in less than a year’s time? I hate the fact that the show couldn’t just be treated like any other streaming classic TV series. Why in the hayle was it ever on Discovery+? Why was it ever listed as “unscripted” on Prime? Who tf was in charge of these things?

Plex.

The ads are kinda annoying, but all 14 seasons are there.

Damn; must've happened in the last 12 hours, because I was watching season eight Thursday/Friday. An absolute mess.

Okay, thanks. I wasn’t sure if it was still there, and I deleted that app once it and FC were added on Prime. Guess I gotta download it again!

It was last night. There was a countdown all week, and the last time I scrolled by, it was down to “165 minutes.” Just stupid.

At least you saw a countdown; I did not even notice one. So messy. Still praying, like with Dynasty, it comes back.

Sounds like they just wanted to force people over to D+ or to buy it, but I guess both Knots and Falcon Crest must be performing moderately well on Prime if they put it back on.

No Knots people in this TV-movie, but the screenplay was co-written by John Pleshette and William Devane (both pre-Knots), which is crazy to me. I can't remember if either of them ever talked about this later on.

Wow you're flashing back to 86/87! I started watching the original air in the 5th season, so I completely missed the Kenny/Ginger/Richard/Ciji/Chip era, and my local stations did not have syndicated reruns. I was desperate to know the story from the earlier years, so these books were heaven to me.

Especially the first one -  "Secrets of Knots Landing" was in a diary format, with journal entries from all the leading ladies, covering plot for season 1 through 4. Whereas books 2 and onward zoomed in to more detailed stories based on a specific season.

Speaking of William Devane and John Pleshette. Constance McCashin have uploaded some recent photos of herself, William and John and a few others you might recognize.

The group Knots should have focused on.

I agree.  Don Murray, James Houghton and Kim Lankford might've been expendable, but writing out John Pleshette, Julie Harris and Constance McCashin, as well as losing Donna Mills, really hurt KNOTS in the long run.

Knots Landing went off the rails in the aftermath of Laura's departure and was effectively over when Abby left.

I love that Constance McCashin has always kept it real by saying she was salary dumped. Constance was also smart enough to realize that good roles for females were few and far between after a certain age and that's probably why she changed her career into one outside of the entertainment business where there was no pressure on her to maintain a certain look.

As for Donna Mills, she was smart to walk away when she did.
