Members applcin
Just to clarify, for anyone who may consider getting it, TD is the only premium/paying content on that channel. Everything else is free. So if you pay, you're paying to watch only TD.

Members jam6242
They were offering a one-month free trial for the subscription service for a while. Not sure whether that's still available if anyone just wants to check it out without committing to subscribing.

victoria foxton
@amybrickwallace That's so cool enjoy. Always liked Eleanor. I wish the Doctors had kept her on longer. But they failed so many interesting characters. The tale of Luke and his two sugar momma's. Had potential but the execution was so lackluster. Members amybrickwallace
Lois Smith did a lot of good work on the show, but I think she was caught up in multiple writer changes as well as an influx of other new characters (and plenty of them came in at that time). Still, she managed to transcend what was on the written page and got a happy ending of sorts (Eleanor left town to become a world traveler). Then she went on to bigger and better roles.
Members Soaplovers
Eleanor could have been tied more to the hospital..as a board member, doing hospital drives, etc. I often wonder if she was meant to be written off by Depriest, but kept on when Marland took over? Her story seemed done and then the writer switch happened..and.poof she was back and starting the Luke story.
Members amybrickwallace
Ironically, that's how her story with Luke began. Eleanor decided to use her wealth and her time volunteering to help Hope Memorial. I believe she was putting together a benefit of some sort and was teamed up with Luke, who would do the artwork (fliers, banners, etc.). That was sometime in 1976.
