Heather is appearing at 90s Con in September: I think with her personal issues she's probably taking a step back from doing the grind these women are doing behind the scenes - "Still the Place" is clearly an effort to try and gather more interest in the reboot and position themselves.

I think this reboot can be a huge chance for her to renew her career and just... remind us who she is and what she can do. She is amazing and I still believe she will deliver. I can't wait for the reboot!

July 12, 20241 yr Member I love CTS, I always have and I hate to be one of those people but I worry she's too thin. They're all still beautiful though. Like Marcia Cross, Laura has barely aged in the last 20 years. If she was willing I would try to get her to do a daytime stint. Edited July 12, 20241 yr by Vee

They were asked what their characters were doing - Andrew gave this whole fantasy about Alison and Billy ending up together, getting married and having children. Courtney? "Nah, Alison's somewhere in Atlanta, getting drunk!"

"Nah, Alison's somewhere in Atlanta, getting drunk!" She has always had a hysterical sense of humor about Alison and the show, both when she was on it and even moreso after she went 'respectable' and got more prestigious shows like Ally McBeal, etc. Not a lot of TV stars like her would. She took her famous talk show appearance with Norm McDonald on Conan O'Brien (right after leaving MP) in good stride too. I just love her.
July 12, 20241 yr Member I honestly wouldn't mind if the new reboot would start with Alison opening the door and greeting Amanda - Amanda whispering to whoever she's with (Peter?) that "she's drunk"; Andrew doesn't act anymore so it's Billy's funeral. Amanda feels pity for Alison and remembers she still owns that property on Melrose...

August 2, 20241 yr Member They were on 90210mg and promoted the podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/mondays-are-a-bi/id1534142827?i=1000663638060 Towards the end of the episode they talk about how they left the show after season 5 and Laura gives this long answer how it felt like it was time for a break, they'd done so much and so on. Courtney says she gave them a number and they said no.
August 5, 20241 yr Member Oh, interesting - in the latest episode of Still the Place with Andrew said he was negotiating to do half of season 7.
August 5, 20241 yr Member Andrew's new project for bringing people back together with organising for citizens to get together sounds like a great idea to ease the political polarization going on. Damn his labrador energy! Andrew's new project: https://www.thepeople.org/ Edited August 5, 20241 yr by te.
