This is probably a stupid question with the strike going on and all, but Toups can you confirm if you know, are things being rewritten at AMC? So far there's been ALOT of spoilers that are not happening, or when they did, it was completely different from what the spoiler said...

Toups, at then end of today's B&B the credits listed Bradley Bell, Michael Minnis and Kay Alden. Also, for the past week or so Jerry Birn and Janice Ferri Esser are listed as Story Consultants with the actors and other crew members with the longer credits. They were both listed in today's episode.

CTV (which I assume has the same credits as cbs.com) didn't list the storyline consultant, and now CBS is back to listing them when they weren't a few days ago?

Oy, these B&B credits are pissing me off. Can't a multi billion dollar company do something right when it's something so easy like credits??? Come on!!!

Oh and I just heard that Linda Poindexter joined the DAYS writing team on trial basis just before the strike started. So I guess she wrote the last script if all the script writers are gone from tomorrow's credits. Wow, bad timing for her!

According to the NY Times, both AMC head-writers are fi-core:

"Two of the most prominent soap opera writers to return to work are James Harmon Brown and Barbara J. Esensten, the co-head writers of “All My Children” on ABC, according to someone briefed on their decision who would discuss it only anonymously. The writing team, whose credits include “Guiding Light” and “Port Charles,” accepted financial core status and returned to work in late December."

The two writers did not respond Thursday to messages left at their offices.

    • @soapfan770 Thanks for the Sheri Anderson interview. So she admits to being influenced by Wall Street, but did she really think that 25 years later (going by real time) the audience wouldn't notice the dust off of The Sound of Music?

    • Thanks @soapfan770 . Sheri seems to have a much different take on Emma's husband than I remember the show having.
    • Lucky said he’s gonna travel this summer with Aidan. It was a quick line. Willow looks dumber by the day somehow.
    • Well, I do love a good soap himbo who can wear some pants...and very much blue jeans.

But yeah, I can see it. I saw it more with Hayley though.
    • Ewww....I love MKA, but GL wasted her returns. I do think she sleeps with Ross, or gets darn close.   So...against my better judgment, I slid into '86 to find Vanessa confessing to Henry about being pregnant...and it's NOT William Roerick, DAMN IT. It's some damn temp Henry. But then it gets weirder because I'm listening in German, and it's the same voice fooling me.
    • I hope the writers understand how pathetic and stupid Willow looks in order to continue this madness with Drew. Willow has become a laughingstock. Lucky didn't say goodbye to Aidan? Pathetic!!! Maybe then she can buy clothes that fit her. The blouse she had on today was three sizes too big.
    • I really enjoyed the first half of season 9. It was dark but Emma, Angela, Lance and Richard were front and center.  Pilar and Frank were finally interesting.  Charley, Michael and Genele came in and caused a lot of drama.  It was even sexier. I also liked the new into theme music. Then the second half of the season went to hell.
    • Something that I love about Dani is that despite her issues with Bill, she's always encouraged her daughters to have a relationship with him. I also believe that she does have a great amount of love for him which is why she is so hurt that he's sick. I've loved them including her in his recovery. It feels real and their chemistry is just insane so any chance for more of it is welcomed. That would be the perfect karma. Kat needs to learn boundaries and not be so impulsive, but I still feel like the Duprees are going to clear Leslie. How? I don't know, but that's what I think is going to happen. I feel like she'll get some kind of blackmail over them which will cause them to clear the slate. Of course the show never goes where you expect so I'm sure they'll do something different but I'm definitely curious how she will manage this.
