November 4, 200520 yr Member When are the rest of the ratings going to be posted? I'm dying to see how Passions did in total viewers and with 18-49 viewers!
November 4, 200520 yr Member what the heck is wrong with AMC? I think its been pretty good since early Oct Beats me I am sure the pre-emptions factored in but I think the reason why it still continues to struggle is well probably alot of viewers left cause of McTavish and probably won't consider returning until new writing is there. Its sad because it isn't all that bad right now. Sure new writer would be great and I think that's the one thing that will cause viewers to start looking at it again....
November 4, 200520 yr Author Administrator DAYS Monday: 2.8 Tuesday: 2.6 Wednesday: 2.4 Thursday: 2.6 Friday: 1.9 Oh man, if Friday had just a 2.4, they would've had a 2.6 (+.2) for the week.
November 4, 200520 yr Member my lord. what the hell happened to Friday?! Has Days ever had a daily rating that low?
November 4, 200520 yr Member Ok Toups, Why was OLTL Friday's episode not counted and ATWT was counted? Wow, a 1.9 for Days on Friday.
November 4, 200520 yr Member my lord. what the hell happened to Friday?! Has Days ever had a daily rating that low? There was a press conference on Friday. The NBC release mentions it.. Note that both "Days of our Lives" and "Passions" were interrupted on Friday due to coverage of a news conference in the CIA leak case.
November 4, 200520 yr Member There was a press conference on Friday. The NBC release mentions it.. But ATWT was also pre-empted on Friday and got a 2.7 to Days 1.9. What gives?
November 4, 200520 yr Member Ugh [!@#$%^&*] CIA leak interrution. IMO DAYS and PSNS Friday episodes BOTH should have not been counted, like OLTL's episode. If that were the case DAYS would have been at a 2.6 with a +.2 for the week. Instead Nielsen counts the 1.9, which would have been a CRAP load of people tuning out because of the damn interruptions. I still can't believe that even with a 1.9 for Friday, DAYS still managed a +.1 increase for the week.
November 5, 200520 yr Member TIME FOR MCTAVISH TO GO. I don't think ABC can ignore the incredible slide in the ratings. I have heard rumor that Brown/Estensen are about to pop up as headwriters on a NY based soap. The rumor is that it's Guiding Light, but I'm wondering if Fronzie and Carruthers have installed them to replace McTavish in the new year!! Remember: Brown/Estensen were trained by Nixon; she loved them on Loving and The City. ABC loves them too. THey gave them Port UpChuck too.

They also were consultants on OLTL earlier this year.
