Members Q Steph Posted February 21, 2007 Members Share Posted February 21, 2007 Britney in Rehab According to a stunning new report in OK magazine, Kevin Federline was at the pop star’s Malibu mansion on Friday when she arrived home from rehab, and a blowout between the exes broke out. “They had a huge argument,” revealed OK’s Rob Shuter. “Kevin threatened Britney that he was going to have people test her hair to find out exactly what she’s been up to. She was so scared. That was what made her have her head shaved.” We have also learned where Britney fled to Friday night after daring to go bald; she reportedly showed up at L.A.’s chic Mondrian Hotel in an electric blue wig. Sources revealed that Brit was seen shaving her legs at the pool and crying after she was refused a room. “She didn't have any credit cards, she didn't have any cash… I don’t even believe she had any I.D.,” dished US Weekly’s Katrina Szish. Szish added that Brit’s bizarre behavior was noted by the staffers who dished, “she was depressed and confused.” “The general consensus is we’re seeing Britney have a breakdown before our very eyes,” Szish told us. "Kevin is concerned for Britney and his children," says a friend of Federline's. "Of course he's concerned about her. He loves her. He's always loved her – even after she started divorce proceedings." The pair, who split in November, have two sons together, Sean Preston, 1, and Jayden James 5 months. According to another source, Federline had booked a room from Feb. 14 - 19 at the Venetian Resort Hotel Casino, but canceled the reservation. It's not clear if Federline has been in direct contact with his two sons or Spears, who voluntarily entered a rehabilitation facility on Tuesday. A rep for Federline could not be reached for comment. (Feb. 21) - Britney Spears left a live-in rehabilitation facility early Wednesday, less than a day after checking in, according to several reports. It was the second time in a week that Spears entered a rehab facility and checked out before her first day was finished. The television news magazine "The Insider" initially reported that Spears called a car service, walked out of the Promises Malibu Treatment Center and left the facility early Wednesday morning. Later, the TV show "Extra" and the celebrity Web site TMZ.com said the 25-year-old pop star had left the center far short of the usual 45-day stay. TMZ said she couldn't handle rehab and went home. Federline manager Dan Dymtrow said there would be no comment. Entertainment TV shows and Web sites reported Friday that Spears had gone in and out of rehab that week. Some reports identified the facility as Eric Clapton 's Crossroads center in Antigua, in the Caribbean, but the AP wasn't able to confirm those reports. Eddie Michaels, a spokesman for the public relations agency that handles Promises, said he had no comment. He would not confirm that Spears had been there or that she had left. There was no response to an e-mail sent Wednesday to Spears' manager, Larry Rudolph. On Tuesday, Rudolph said Spears had voluntarily checked herself into an undisclosed treatment facility. "We ask that the media respect her privacy as well as those of her family and friends at this time," Rudolph was quoted as saying. He didn't disclose why she entered rehab. Spears had a meltdown weekend that included shaving her head, tattooing her wrist and clubbing with friends. On Friday night, she sheared off her hair at a salon. Spears was later seen wearing an inexpensive blond wig. Since filing for divorce from Kevin Federline in November, Spears has been photographed pantyless, wearing skimpy outfits and partying heavily. Federline's attorney earlier confirmed that Spears and Federline would continue to share custody of 5-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston this month, following terms of a January custody agreement. Sources tell TMZ that the Child Protection hotline received calls on Brit's kids and her recent bizarre behavior. Terrified she'd lose custody of her sons, Britney tried to kill herself twice in the hours after shaving her head Friday night. According to The National Enquirer, Spears tried to take her own life by walking into traffic, only to be rescued at the last second by her staff. But that wasn't the end of Britney's self-destructive evening. A short time later she was rushed to a doctor, as various media outlets reported, and the Enquirer reveals the reason - she kept saying she was going to kill herself and then taking too many Xanax. "After she shaved off her hair, Britney had a complete breakdown and tried to kill herself," an insider told The Enquirer. Sad. So tragically sad. THIS is why Britney Spears needs to be committed. We're not joking! She seriously needs to be under constant psychiatric care these days, and hopefully she will be on the right path to getting her life in order soon. Let us pray. For real y'all. This has last its "entertainment value." This is just sad. And Brit's in a dangerous place. This, as Spears has checked out of rehab for the second time in a week. A Los Angeles Superior Court spokesman says Kevin Federline and his lawyer are scheduled to appear at a downtown L-A courthouse tomorrow for an emergency hearing. It's not known what issue Federline plans to raise. Federline and Spears have two sons, five-month-old Jayden James and 17-month-old Sean Preston. Federline filed papers seeking spousal support and sole custody of the children after Spears sought to end their two-year marriage last November. A temporary court order issued February first granted the couple joint custody until the end of this month. "He is beyond sad," says a Federline pal. "This is the worst week of his entire life. He doesn't even want to pick up the phone. Things are beyond not well with Britney, and he still loves her." Federline reportedly is now taking legal steps to protect his children. TMZ is reporting that Federline has requested an emergency custody hearing Thursday before an L.A. judge (Spears had been granted physical custody of the kids at an earlier hearing). According to our Federline insider, K-Fed made a call to his mother, Julie Bleak, on Valentine's Day asking for her to help him take care of the children. Our source adds that Lynne Spears has also been present for her grandchildren, offering a helping hand and moral support.
