Members PhoenixRising05
I think Antonella and Phil Stacy will go far. Phil is very similar to Chris Daughtry and Antonella has the look and is talented. This is already a much more talented top 24 then last year. This year's top 24 is more based on talent and less on personality, unlike last year which was filled with personality and character.
Members PhoenixRising05
I think this very well be the case, although there was loads of talent this year. I think they are guarding against some of the more talented people going home. I think it's a reaction to the upset eliminations we get every year. They want the ones with the most potential to go far and make it so this is just a way of ensuring it.
Members Cheap21
Anyone else notice Robyn Troup was in the Hollywood auditions and was cut? She was the girl that won the Grammy performance with Justin Timberlake on Sunday. I didnt know her name till then but after appearing live on the Grammy's that girl will go far and I bet she will get a record deal this year. Probably best that she did lose AI

Members DaysFanJean
AI is on five hours this week. The first two hours the guys give it their all and the viewers vote, then the next day the gals give their best for two hours and we vote, then the next day, the results for one hour. I'll try to remember to have pen and paper handy to take notes as it's too easy for me to forget who did what and if I liked them or not by the end of two hours LOL. Members Cheap21
LOVED Chris Richardson's performance. I defiently see him getting into the finals. So far he's my favorite to win. I thought Simon was being way too harsh on Sanjaya. He wouldnt let up and was so mean, meaner to him than anyone else. That just wasnt fair. I hope he doesnt become this season's whipping boy who Simon bashes and the audience votes for just for the sake of keeping him in
Members KMan101
I was very underwhelmed. They all blend together for me except for the bald dude (Phil?) I don't care for any of them like I did the past few years. Meh.
Members DaysFanJean
I was underwhelmed as well. A huge disappointment. The best talent yet didn't hold up in my view of the performances tonight. Phil Stacey offered the biggest surprise to me and I loved his performance. The rest of them seemed very timid to release their voices and spread their wings so to speak. Chris Sligh suited me OK. Those to me are the top two. My lowest marks went to: Nicholas Pedro Paul Kim Chris Richardson Sanjaya Malakar Sundance Head It broke my heart to put Sanjaya and Sundance in the group because they both showed great promise early on. Sanjaya showed how young he is and needs to develop before this competition and Sundance seems to have hid behind a lack of confidence. I love the way he looks and his gorgeous blue eyes show up so well in close ups and to me his voice is great, just suddenly he put a barrel over his performances. I don't think he will go yet, but unless he throws off the barrel, he will be voted off next time (just my thinking out loud).
Members PhoenixRising05
Phil was the best, followed by Blake. Chris Sligh and Chris Richardson were ok. AJ, Nick, Jared, and Brandon were decent. The rest were a big yawn. I am always underwhelmed overall by the guys in this part of the competition. They always seem so timid and nervous. The only guy standouts from this round in the past were Chris, Ruben, Clay, and Bo IMO. The girls always tend to be better here and I am hopeful they will be better tomarrow night. Members alwaysAMC
I'm actually feeling better about this season now after tonight. My favorites by far are: Chris Richarson Blake _____ (beatboxer) Chris Sligh Jared Cotter There were some bad/boring performances too, but overall I feel better about this season. There are some hot ones too that I didn't remember during auditions. Sanjaya - he reminds me of a young Michael Jackson. I'm not trying to be mean - that's not my intention - I like the guy - but he reminds me of MJ. Did anyone notice how hard Ryan Seacrest was trying to convince us that he's not gay? And then I loved how Simon called him Sweetheart and he pretended to take offense to it....and then by the end, after Simon told us that Ryan lies to his audience and the public...you could tell Ryan wanted to punch him in the face. Interesting to see how the Ryan/Simon relationship goes this season.
Members Jonathan
It was really boring tonight. I made it a point to be home on time today to watch tonight's episode. My expectations were not met. Elliott Yamin would have kicked everyone's butt tonight.
