Best guys IMHO, were Blake Lewis, Chris Richardson, Jared Cotter, Brandon Rogers (improved), AJ Tabaldo & Chris Sligh, with Phil Stacy next (much improved).

I wish would go home and vote the worst must have them as their picks ===== Sundance FatHead and Sanjaya "I'm in Love with Michael Jackson" Malakar.

Best girls, of course, were Melinda Doolitle, Sabrina Sloan, Stephanie Edwards, LaKisha Jones, Jordin Sparks & Gina Glocksen. Haley Scarnato was surprisingly good IMHO, and Randy & Simon were way too hard on her this week and Paula was absolutely right.

Worst and should go home Alaina who didn't even have the tune of "Not Ready to Make Nice" and pretty Antonella, who should become a model and forget singing since she can't carry a tune and seems to be a beatch. Leslie could end up going though due to her weirdness.

I'm inclined to agree unless Sundance has another relapse of lack of confidence. Right now, I'm even ready to declare Melinda the winner due to her poise and composure. She is very professional, has the voice and I just love her. She comes across as a very sensitive and caring person.

If Antonella makes it to the top 6 over some of these other girls I will be very mad. Soem of these girls are giving some magnificent performances and trying. Antonella has been bad for both of them. This will definitely be a case where America gets it wrong if they don't send her out.

And if Sundance makes it to the final 4 that is another bad choice. I have not liked him at all - even in his tryout.

Yeah. I liked her too King but she butchered one of favorite songs of all time last week and she just takes on the wrong songs. She takes on these big songs and tries to avoid the high notes by pulling most of them out of the song and it dilutes the song, leaving you with a boring song and a forgettable performance.

The fact that Sanjaya, Antonella, and Sundance (who wasn't bad this week but still) are getting more votes then many of the more talented and hard working singers makes me fear for what may happen this season.

Actually I don't think Antonella is all that bad. She was scared and nervous last week and this week, I thought she was being careful not to in any way be compared with Celine. She did it HER WAY and I rather enjoyed it. She still showed some nerves, but I think she is as good as some of the other girls who have a shot at number 6. Of course, if she does get number 6, she probably will be the first girl to go (as does any of the others who might get number 6).

I find it hard to see Gina and Stephanie the bottom two. Surely they won't be the ones to go this time. I expect Leslie and Haley but if they don't go this time, surely they will next week.

Rick, you are cool....yes she does resemble Lily Tomlin only a bit stouter.

ITA. Lakisha, Stephanie and Melinda are leagues above the other girls. They just dont compare.

Im not feeling the Gina love. I think she is overated and didnt see anything great about her performance. I hope she gets the boot

    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
