On the heels of the announcement of the Survivor contestants, CBS has released this information:

CBS News' THE EARLY SHOW will announce the cast
for AMAZING RACE: ALL-STARS on Tuesday, Jan. 16 (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT).

The 11th edition of the Emmy Award-winning series debuts on Sunday,

Feb. 18 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

So we will get to meet the All-Star cast this Tuesday.

And the new season will premiere on Sunday, February 18th.

Woohoo!! I am very excited!

Any guesses for who the 11 teams of 2 are?

I know BJ & Tyler'll probably be back. They were sooo popular, it seems.

I'd love to see Colin & Christie come back More drama..lol!

Well, I have my wishlist... and I hope that we'll get some surprises tomorrow and somehow TAR and CBS fooled everyone with the sightings and "rumored"/"confirmed" list

And I think pretty much any TAR season fan can feel safe saying that^^. They were uber-freakin'-popular!

TAR3 - John Vito & Jill (MEH)

TAR5 - Charla & Mirna (YAY)

TAR7 - Rob & Amber (UGH)

TAR7 - Uchenna & Joyce (MEH)

TAR9 - Eric & Danielle (UGH) <- I bet they win, which would freaking suck

TAR10 - David & Mary (YAY)

Overall, a decent cast, IMO.

I'm bummed no Don/Mary Jean or Gretchen/Meredith (who turned it down because of Meredith's health). And IMO, no winners should of been brought back, as much as I like Uchenna and Joyce. I'm also bummed no Momily or Linda/Karen.

I'm also pissed beyond belief there's no Kris and Jon. UGH. Damn it.

I think putting Eric and Danielle in the race is like BB All Stars including Boogie and Erika and Survivor All Stars including Rob and Amber. They are likely destined to win and NO, I am NOT spoiled on the winner.

And no teams from TAR4, TAR6 and TAR8, which isn't surprising as they are the least popular seasons.

Can someone post pictures of the teams? I've seen every season of AR - but for some reason I can never remember names with faces after the season is over - I can remember people/faces on every reality show except AR - maybe bc they are in couples and it's twice as many names to remember or bc things are moving so fast you don't have time to concentrate on their names, or bc they are always given nicknames by the other teammates...haha, I don't know - but it's lame.

Anyway I DO know Rob/Amber and GROSS!!!! I hate those two.

Of course I know David/Mary and my Beauty Queens (YAY! Hope they win...for now...that might change) - and I remember the gay team guidos (gross!). Oh and I remember Charla and Mirna....but everyone else I'm drawing a blank.

From the B&B MIMS: Dylan's favorite psycho cousin lives in LA, but she never reaches out to him when she's living in her car. Right.
CW is one of the better male actors B&B has hired in recent years, he's definitely not the usual B&B Himbo.
But why make Remy such a creep: Electra, Lunacy friendship, robo calls, wig wearing freak, actively stalking Deke (that's exactly what he's doing), etc. Remy should've been one of Sheila's grandkids. At least, we'd understand.
It only took 10 years, but Brad finally acknowledged what I've always said: Brooke should be co-CEO because she's earned it. My twist was that she's co-CEO with Steffy - Ridge should focus on design.

You were a better kid than I. lol. I vaguely remember the Ward house, but that sounds like such a beautiful scene to watch, but you know how much I love Laura. :)

Before they came back, all I knew Anthony Geary from was the Fat Boys movie back in the day and he was the villain. So watching him as Luke with Genie as Laura...I didn't know who they were, but I do remember how it felt so effortless for them to return. Not jarring at all and I did find them fascinating as this kinda 'action family.' And yes...I always loved that explosion being the credits for years (and seeing Emma Samms...hehe...who my earliest memories of her WERE from her on GH with Robert before my mind associated her with DYNASTY. But I was reeeally young). God, I miss Faces of the Heart. I just loved the angle of a family that had adventures, but was still grounded enough to be a family. Luke with young Lucky. The Spencer dog. Such a nice house. How could you not be drawn to it? I liked and saw why my mother loved them.

It cleared something up for me. He just swapped out Easton and Howarth for another close friend. As much as I like what they have done with Drew and think he is necessary, I also think it’s another example of FV forcing actual GH character aside for his friends, or characters created while he was there. Again, Dante. Liz. Laura. There are more, but you have three actual GH fan favorites that are good actors just there to help explain plot points and people like Drew (until recently) have every beat played and are always in story.

All I remember from it was long scenes that I personally loved (but in the minority) that felt like character development, Liz getting to have a romance with Ewen, and that beautiful scene of Alexis tearing Carly apart and holding her accountable for Sonny 'killing' Jax in the plane crash.

I had vague memories as a little kid seeing them when Laura returned in 1983, the blue scarf and Luke screaming at her from the balcony of the mayor’s mansion. So I knew who they were.
That return starts off pretty great with the explosion seen in the credits for years, and meeting Lucky, having a little mini adventure. But what really grabbed me and made me love them both was when Laura sees the original Ward house, and them hiding there. Something about the still very real chemistry between them, the way Genie played seeing it and running up the steps on the porch, her face when they went inside. I felt like I got why they were special, and I knew exactly who Laura was at that moment and what kind of couple they were. The larger than life was there but it was grounded in real human emotions. They took a lot of care and effort for a return that felt effortless watching it, like they just fit right away.
