I never did post in detail about Monday, but I think "stunned and awed" still covers it. Stephen and Mary Beth were absolutely incredible in this episode and the writing/direction kicked ass.

That moment right when she began to let herself believe he was telling the truth... the soft mewling sound of surrender before he kissed her, the gentle kiss he pressed to her lips, the way she tasted her own lips then laughed with her heart in her eyes, his laughter between kisses.... just perfection.

Emmy, I'm telling you.

Lots of other stuff to enjoy in the episode. LOVED Bo getting his reconnecting with his balls and telling Hope he couldn't live there if she didn't trust him. Adored seeing him sing to Claire. Great stuff.

And Monday was the first time I have ever felt any sort of emotion for Willow. When Shawn said to her there's more to a relationship than sex and she said "I've never had a relationship" and her chin trembled... I truly hurt for her.

If this is where Days is headed, I'm thrilled. Please god let the ratings follow. What is it going to take??

Did anyone notice that when Abby tried to take the fork away from Nick, some of his tiramisu was flung toward Chelsea and went down her shirt? She started to laugh, then quickly looked down and covered her face. Abby started to smile, then stopped herself and continued in the scene. I don't think that was in the script. LOL!

THANK YOU, Dr. Chip! I was too lazy to rewind it to check, but something didn't mesh since I saw the food fly on Chelsea but then one minute later she acted like he JUST got it on her by hugging Nick. CONTINUITY, people!

OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!

First John and Marlena love scene in......four years!? (Unless I am missing something?) I don't even really like J&M anymore, and I loved it!

Steve and Kayla are the best DAYS couple EVER! EVER! EVER! EVER!

I realize this episode was over a week ago, and no one will want to comment anymore, but I had to!

So glad you're catching up on how awesome the last couple of weeks have been, King!!

Haha. I am! I have been trying to stay out of the episode threads and only scanning the spoiler threads so the intensity of that S/K scene and the J/M love scene was a huge shocker to me.
