Ok show I thought. I am so damn tired though of seeing Bo and Hope go back and forth. I realize the circumstances, but honestly, this is ridiculous. Her trusting Patrick over him again? I did like when Bo said he loved her at the end, and she started to cry and said it back.

at Patrick yelling at the nurses "Stay where you are!" like some kind of drill sergeant. And Mimi? Except for Bonnie (usually), this is by far the worst acted family on DAYS, or on most soaps, lol.

Maybe it's just because I'm so very tired of this Bo/Hope merry-go-round we've been subjected to for the past year, but I have a feeling there's something going on here with that note Bo wrote to Hope. The way it was phrased, and the look on Hope's face after she read it...I just feel that there's an undercurrent to this storyline that the viewers aren't aware of yet. Or, maybe I'm just grasping at straws to explain the utter idiocy of Hope right now. I would love a scene where Hope comes flying into Bo's arms, asking for and assuming he'll forgive her for doubting him AGAIN, and he backs off and says "Now wait a minute, Fancy Face. I'm tired of you not trusting me, always believing your boyfriend over me, and I need some time for you to PROVE YOUR LOVE."

Today's show was very good. I was really intrigued by the Hope/Shawn scenes today. It was interesting to see how Hope started staring at Shawn when he said that he believed in Bo and then her waiting to open Bo's letter. Something weird was going on b/w Bo, Hope and Shawn on today's show, but I mentioned that in my Brash theory thread yesterday.

I thought Prevuze had written the entire Bo letter, but I noticed that they didn't. So I jotted the words of the note down. Here it is:

Dear Hope,

You must think I'm the lowest form of life right now. But I hope you still care enough to listen to what I have to say. From the moment I snatched you from your wedding to Larry Welch and put you on the back of my motorcycle, you and I have been on an adventure. We rode away from the church that day and you wrapped your arms around me and held on. You put your faith in me from that day forward. I'm asking you now for your faith again. I'm asking you to believe in me, when I say I never laid a hand on Patrick. I wouldn't risk our marriage over him. Nothing is worth losing you. Hope, you know me. You know what kind of man I am. Hotheaded and stubborn, yes. But not stupid. So give me the benefit of the doubt. Help me put this right. So you and I can continue on a ride of a lifetime.

I've got the part Hope..listen to what I have to say. Also, the phrases I'm asking you AND You know are repeated twice in the note. Those phrases must be significant in some way. I don't know the history of Bo/Hope so I don't know the significance of some of these phrases to crack the code. But I do think that there was significance behind the wording, especially the "ride of a lifetime" which Hope repeated to Bo towards the end of the show.....

Also, enjoyed Lumi and the nascent start of Mabby (although Max was trife when he dismissed Abby towards the end there).....

I'm SICK. TO. DEATH. of Hope believing Craptrick over Bo. That's all I have to say.

Ademption, I read your Brash theory, and I think something like that is possible. There were just so many enigmatic looks between Bo, Hope and Shawn and I've got to think that note has some significance because of the way they played the scene.

Today's show was PAINFUL. I hated the way Hope looked at Patrick and I swear that she even looked a him one time like she hated the idea of having to give him up, ewww. Anyway, it was barf time watching lying Patrick and Bonnie ... why is she still here? Watching Hope revert and poor set-up Bo with his support team falling apart. Of course, that would never happen. Friends are like John is being. Wouldn't believe it for a nanosecond.

Why is Hogan writing so poorly for Abby. She needs a personality with a warm and endearing sparkle instead of this harpy shrew and why was she dressed for a party on a wintry day in a car repair garage? Please. Do something with this girl or get rid of her. This is pitiful.

However, this was Shawn's day. He was very, very good and it was wonderful to see him defend his father and show that he can think.

That, and the boom mike operators have to learn to not hang the damn things so low.

Loved the John/EJ scene in the beginning. That was prety good and classic John vs Dimera.

Sami/Lucas were great and I love the family scenes with Will. Sami/EJ has a chilling vibe to it (like Stefano used to have with Marlena). Loved when Lucas showed up. Best line was when he told EJ that he would take his clean slate and hit him with it .

Mimi looked a little better today and I liked her being smart to her brother. The look on Bonnie's face when she took the money was hilarious. Patrick ordering around the nurses was hilarious.

Jean...they are giving Abby a personality. I like the fact that she is acting like that instead of the second coming of Jennifer. I have always liked her but she was always bland. Now she is alive and it makes total sense for her to act like this. Her cousin Nick is acting like an idiot and letting Chelsea use him and the guy she likes is crushing on Mimi and doing her every wish while she does the work. Makes sense to me. Abby had that dress on because she came from Chez Rouge yesterday with Chelsea and she picked up sandwiches on the way to work.

I was surprised at Shawn. He has been mad at his father lately so why did he all of a sudden change his mind and become nice with his father? Then we had Hope, who looked so conflicted and read the letter (which I loved) and seemed genuinely affected only to tell Bo it was over. Something is definitely going on. I mean she told Bo she loved him back when he said he loved her before Abe dragging him off. This goes along with when Bo was arrested in October and Hope acted really weird. There may be something to ademption's theory about this being some sort of "Larry Welch"- like story. Either that or Hope is just fed up with all the crap she has been through and Shawn started to beleive something was up with EJ and Patrick based on the fact that EJ yelled at him and then went off to "talk" to Patrick after learning he didn't pay Shawn so he is willing to beleive Bo. Whatever. I did like the scenes when she said she loved him back at the end. Abe is really acting like an ass though. Roman and him are always way too by the book. I am loving John with them though.

Good show but tomarrow looks like the best of the week as an exciting December looks ready to begin

No one has the right to question others choices unless they are very, very close, like mother, father, sister, brother. It's none of Abby's business. When a clerk tries to tell the boss how to run his business, it's time for her to go. Abby is young and needs a life for herself. Not trying to run others. to me it is very disgusting and totally a turn-off and doesn't do a thing for her facial expressions, vocals, posture, or any of the things that should be used to her advantage. She should be so full of her life that what others do is really "their life" as it should be. (and I'm too tired to correct my mistakes here so I hope you understand).

Now, the twist I would like to see, is if Shawn has made copies of all the notes he's been taking back and forth, and walks into the SPD one day and gives them to Abe, Roman, Bo & John. I know it's WAAAAAYYYYY out of character for Shawn, since he's so damn stupid most of the time, but it would finally get the goods on E.J., and Abe can stop acting like a prick most of the time.

He really kills me with this by0the-book crap one day, and then getting John to lie to Marlena the next about investigating the DiMera family. What a hypocrite.

This is the first week I have watched at least part of everyday. I know everyone has an opinion but to me this has been one of the most painful weeks of Days watching in a long time. I actually enjoyed the parts of episodes I watched last week, but have not enjoyed much this week at all. And today was the worst.

The only thing I enjoyed was the Lucas and Sami scenes. They are quickly becoming my favorite couple on the show. Replacing Bo & Hope who have always been my favorite Days couple behind Doug & Julie. I am just disgusted with the back and forth with the writing of them. I hope there is an undercurrent in there somewhere esp. if I continue to try and watch. With more and more emphasis on the DiMera's I just don't know. I just love the show and love so many characters that it is hard to give some of them up. But shows like today and the upcoming emphasis on more and more DiMera's makes it a whole lot easier.
