November 30, 200619 yr Member The writers need to give Gwen and Will a break from my TV! I like them, but do we really need to see them everyday? How about we give Bob, Kim, Lisa, Nancy or Jessica a storyline?? And I'm wondering about the whole Holden/Lily thing, too. Maybe Martha told Goutman & Co. she wanted to ease back in to working, so that's why we haven't seen a lot of her. I don't care for nunuAdam so far. The previous guy had much more sex appeal. This new guy's voice grates on my nerves!

How about we give Bob, Kim, Lisa, Nancy or Jessica a storyline?? Sadly because fans told Goutman they don't care about the vets when he gave the vets the big showcase on the 2nd day of the 50th anniversary and the ratings weren't that great. I said then that it would give Goutman his ammunition if fans ever said they wanted to see the vets more. The ratings should have been lots higher that day. If I remember the day the vets were highly featuered either wasn't that much higher than the comedy show or they may have even been a little lower. I think actually a lot of people tuned out because of the irreverent episode and didn't tune in to catch the vet ladies special episode, but all that CG and JP are going to look at is the rating.
November 30, 200619 yr Member I want Luke back too. On another board they said Van Hansis was on vacation - is that why he hasn't been on. Yes Van was on vacation for about the first week and a half of October which would explain him not being on for the very first part of November, but I don't understand the reasoning of why is has only been on a few times since then. Fans love this character yet they never want to show him, and when he is on he is only on for a very few short minutes a day.

Excellent point. I guess I'm one of the few that wrote in to say how much I loved seeing the divas (even though the story was beyond stupid), and that I thought the sitcoms, although humorous, were a disrespectful way to celebrate a milestone like a 50th anniversary.

If that is all Goutman got out of those ratings, then, as usual, he missed the point. We (I) didn't want to see a irreverant, flip, bear chasing women episode that was totally disconnected from the action that was going on with the show. The shame of it was, that it could have been a ATWT-Inside the Light kind of deal, where you'd have everyone examining how they'd manage to deal with each other, since most of their children had been involved with one another's at some point in time. All we got was them figuring out they'd all "had" John Dixon (minus Nancy of course...) Goutman had his "fantasy ATWT-as-'60's tv" episode. He could have thrown us a heartfelt tribute to balance it out. Not that I necessarily even believe your hypothesis. Goutman's backburned the vets for years.
December 1, 200619 yr Member I adore Vienna, she's absolutely fabulous! Paul and Emily were fun today, loved their arguing, their working each other, and when they both tried to throw Jen's name out there as justification LOL!
December 1, 200619 yr Member Here is a email I just sent to ATWT's letter rip section, I hope it gets posted on Saturday Morning. What has happened to the ATWT I once new and loved, I turn on my tv everyday to watch the show and all I see are the same characters day in and day out, don't get me wrong I love most of these characters, it has just gotten to the point that I no longer care about there storylines anymore at all, this is what I see everyday Craig, Paul, Dusty, Lucy, Meg, Emily, Katie, Carly, Simon, Mike, Gwen, and Will, what happened to the rest of the cast, I took a look at the airings for the cast for the month of November and these characters were all at the top, with everyone else way behind them in total eppys shown. I guess my point is I no longer care about what happens to Craig, I have had it with the storyline and the character, the character of Craig has been on 39 out of 42 shows since he has been back, that is way to many and more than anyone on this show ever gets. On to Katie's storyline, I would like this storyline if there seemed to be a point to it, which so far after almost 6 months there does not seem to be one, I no longer care to hear Katie, Carly, Simon, and Mike say the same things over and over again. Now onto Will and Gwen, I normally love this couple but come on, they have never been backburnered one time since they were introduced onto the show, and I for one could careless about Gwen's singing storyline, it is down right boring, and then to throw in the talks between Will and Gwen just makes it worse, we the viewers have seen there talks already, and nothing new is ever really said there talks. Now onto my biggest problem right now, where are all the other characters on this show, Luke started off with a great storyline at the beginning of the year, but that storyline looks to have been dropped totally, and that is very sad, because there is great fan support for his storyline, every messageboard I visit has been wondering where he has been. Also this new storyline with Holden and Lily, it looks to be interesting, but where is it, so far we have only seen 3 days of it out of 3 weeks. Where are Casey and Maddie at? Also why are the writers not trying to find a good storyline for Barbara, Susan, Kim, Bob, Lisa, Lucinda, and other vets I just don't understand it. I will always love ATWT but I just really hope it starts to get more balanced soon, because this is not the ATWT that I once loved.
December 1, 200619 yr Member I doubt they will post it winterguy. They only post the positive ones. I have sent one before and it was negative and it was never posted.
December 1, 200619 yr Member I read the CBS Daytime Letter Rips, and trust me, all of them aren't all positive. I have seen some negative comments regarding some of the characters, etc...they don't just put up positive ones on there. Today just bored me today...I didn't even care about Katie trying her hardest to mess with Simon and Carly all because her dumb butt lost not only getting Simon back but lost her husband as well.
December 1, 200619 yr Member Now Today's show 12-1 was one of the better shows of late, the show still lacked the Drama factor but was much more entertaining than most days. Today we got to see Lily/Lucinda/Holden which was nice for a change, I know alot of people find them boring but I really liked there scenes today, and I like where the story is headed so far, I just hope we keep on seeing it. Also today I loved Paul and Emily's conversation, mainly because they finally brought up the lost child of theres, it was nice to see it finally mentioned, so those were some good scenes. Craig and Emily I could careless about that was boring and repetitive totally. The worse part of the show was the mess of Katie/Simon/Carly again they were on today's show but nothing new happened with them just same ole same ole. Loved V's entrance at the end though. Also No Luke again so he was not seen at all this week again, that makes 3 weeks this month that Luke has not been featured, sad very sad. Also the lack of any vets other than Lucinda is not good either, with all of these hospital scenes we should at least be seeing Dr. Bob and Kim. So all in all with Monday's show and Today's show I will be nice and give the show a D for the week instead of the F it deserves, because the other day's were just horrid.
December 2, 200619 yr Member I didnt see Thursday's episode. We had a power outage and my dvd recorder was out! I recorded today's show but haven't seen it yet.
December 2, 200619 yr Member Yeah, Gwen is becoming a bit too whiny and self-centered. Also, Will needs to get a freakin personality. I mean really how is it that he is totally not bothered about Adam and Jade. All the while, Gwen is a freakin pissed off... I can totally understand Gwen being upset, but shouldn't Will be really upset too? Instead, he is acting like all of this is normal...It's just down right weird imo. I just can't wait to see how he reacts when he finds out that Gwen was sexing him up, because she was upset about Jade and Adam...Maybe then he will start to get an edge.
