I must say...as much ATWT has sucked crap this last month (not even..longer), it has a very loyal fanbase. How bad does the writing have to be for you guys to give up??? Even the acting isn't saving it for me anymore.

Seriously? I don't think I'll ever give up hope with ATWT. I've survived suckier writing (Stern and Black, the early '80's with a drugged out, psychic Babs), acting-challenged actors (omg..."model" Paul/Zoe/faux Connor) and life getting in the way of my habit. I only gave up GL after years of bad stories, bad executive decisions, and bad acting.

'Bout nuAdam....I actually liked his look more than lastNuAdam. He looks like Will's brother. I don't so much like that they literally threw him over Jade on his first day. The attraction to Jade was paper thin as it was. LOL...now it's like totally out of thin air.

Looks like I ain't missing much. Can Gwen just leave town already? Never liked that girl.

ATWT may be bad, but its not horrible and I haven't truly given up. It's still miles ahead better than GL IMHO.

Wow. I haven't posted in an ATWT discussion thread in awhile. Okay. Is this guy playing NuAdam purposely speaking his lines with this hoity toity crap? Did he talk like that in his last soap role? They only reason I'm asking is because someone from another board posted that he's affecting his voice in this role. If so, WHY???? Stop it dude! It's not cool or cute.

LOL - I was actually thinking this earlier today before I read this post...I think he is trying to sound like Morrison - the ex-Adam - who in my opinion is bring written like he's some hotshot in a small town trying to tell everyone how it is to be successful. I can't stand the character - he IS acting all hoity toity - so I guess the nuAdam is trying to keep the 'act' up.

And yeah - Emily's new hairdo is HORRIBLE.

nuAdam sounded like this on OLTL as well, I think it comes from his heavy theater background. Right now he's doing Grey Gardens with Christine Ebersole (Ryan's Hope, One Life To Live). I think he's extremely miscast and not nearly as sexy as Morrison.

Overall I'm very disappointed with the show. WHO are we supposed to root for? Dusty? Emily? Craig? This is GARBAGE! And I must say, what has happened to Dusty? Where is that sweet, educated boy I loved so much in his scenes with John? Speaking of, where the hell is John? Did he even get an exit? I do think that Grayson McCouch could play Dusty the way Dougland Marland intended for him to be, but the writing is dreadful now.

My big problem is that ATWT has these characters doing these crazy "WTF" things (like Dusty shooting Craig) and it just doesn't add up. There is no clear direction for any character on the show. Such a shame because I don't think they will fire the headwriter anytime soon. She's been doing decent for quite a while so they wouldn't think to fix anything.

The only characters I can root for have no stories except for possibly Lily so I'm screwed. There is no one to root for in the Dusty/Craig mess. I hate all the criminal behavior on the show.

Well, Today's show 11-30, umm, first off it was another horrible non balance piece of crap. Today we featured 3 storylines at first you say great news, but, unfortunately it is the same three storys that are destroying this show. We had the never ending same talk between Will and Gwen today(zzzzzzzz), then we had Katie/Carly/Simon today(zzzzzzzzzz) nothing new happened there, except add Jack and V in on the mess. And then finally what day would be complete with out our good friend Craig's storyline, though the main person in the storyline was missing today that did not stop them from taking up most of the show with his storyline. Though Meg and Holden had a nice talk, it was still about Paul which is about Craig. Question what happened to Holden's new storyline, I would think they would be doing that storyline instead of him talking to Meg about Paul??????. Again no Luke today I think he has been on 2 days this month, Lisa finally showed up for 2 minutes today, in the Carly/Simon/Katie storyline. But where is everyone else, hell I think Martha Byrne has only been on 5 times since she has been back from her leave, this is getting crazy people.

Ohh, and the best scene of the day Adam and Jade making out, at least that was something new.

End of recap for today

I love Will and Gwen. Seriously these two are the only COUPLE on the show that act like adults. This is one thing that I love about them.

I love how they both got into a fight but in the end once again talked it out and made up.

GO GWEN. Loved it when she flipped out on Jade and Adam in the studio. I can totally understand why she would be disgusted with him. He is only sleeping with the girl who wrecked havoc in her and Will's marraige. (talking about faking a pregnacy)

Lastly at the end of the show I love she blind sided him with a kiss! Flvoe them.

I'm becoming worried for Holden and Lily. You'd think they'd give them a HUGE story upon her return, but we really haven't gotten anything. You can blame it on her baby weight, but since thats part of her story, it doesn't count. You know when Maura West returns she will be back to a huge story immediately.

Plus, where is Luke who was very well received with both the fans and the press? Dallas? Elwood? The teen scene basically revolves around Gwill which makes me just hate them. Like with Jade she has ZERO chemistry with Will and no one likes them together, but they MUST be tied to them because Gwill = God for the teen scene.

Gwen is one sick puppy.

She got horny seeing Adam/Jade and wanted to do the nasty with Will.

Exactly the teen scene completely revolves around Gwen and Will, and it is so stupid the writers need to realize that there is more talent and more storyline other than the Emmy winning Jen Landon, that is what it is she won an emmy so the writers think all we want to see is Gwen in some story. Well I for one don't. Not to mention several other people on this show have won emmy's do they get storylines nope. Just Jen Landon's "Gwen". I love Will and Gwen, but having them forced down my throat nearly everyday, is getting me to hate them. I am sorry but Will and Gwen are the only characters on this show that have not been backburnered once since they were introduced, that is just not right. There is just as much love for Luke, Casey, Maddie as there is for Gwen and Will, and yet the writers only write for them.

God, spare me Gwen's self-pitying crap. Mommy comes back and her life is horrible. Are they sure they can't make her Lily's sister instead of Carly's? Get a clue, Gwen, the entire world does NOT revolve around you. (On second thought, maybe they should make her Katie's sister...) The only thing that surprised me was that Gwennie didn't throw out how horribly Carly treated her last year so she could really get Will's sympathy.

Emily? OMG...she tried to kill two people earlier this year, and she begrudges Paul letting Dusty do what he intended? Em didn't replace those bullets to keep Dusty from doing anything, she conspired with Craig so he could accomplish his goals. (Although when I think about it, Paul is pretty twisted.) AND the hair just keeps getting uglier every time I see it.

Loved Vienna...and at least Lisa wasn't the normal pod she usually comes off as, she was joking about believing Simon had committed a crime. I do wish Katie would shut the hell up. Even Jack could figure out this was mostly about her jealousy over Simon. Though I was stunned to find out Jack had been informed Katie and Mike had broken up. He's been out of the loop for quite a while.

I don't think there's anyway Katie could be redeemed. At this point she could get stabbed and I wouldn't feel sorry for her. I'll be cheering whoever had the courage to gut that snake.

Why must the writers tease us? It's obvious Emily won't tell anyone about Paul switching the bullets. She'll probably blackmail him into sleeping with her or some other warped deed.

I noticed she was wearing her Paul Jail Cell wedding outifit.

I'm so sick of Gwen. I don't think she's had any new dialogue in the past three months. She's either:

1. Hating on Jade

2. Talking about what a martyr she is.

I wish I could say something good about the episode. I mean, it wasn't awful...it was just really dull. I know I said that I was going to stop watching...but I can't help myself, I guess.

Katie needs to shut the [!@#$%^&*] up!!

As much as Emily is a hypocrite, I really wished she had killed Paul and Dusty when she had the chance. It would have saved us a lot of time and energy from complaining this past year.

Gwen is so annoying now. I hate what's become of her character.

The best I can say is that I actually am liking the new Adam. I wasn't impressed with the actor on OLTL and didn't feel he could take Morrison's place, but I really liked him today.

I wish ATWT's would kick up their sex scenes and make them a little more playful or a little more sexy. GL has been doing a great job with this lately, and ATWT used too, but even though Jade & Adam was sort of hot, it was flat too.

I want Luke back too. On another board they said Van Hansis was on vacation - is that why he hasn't been on.
