I've read all your posts and don't know what new there is to add. I agree with everything especially the Steve and Chelsea ones, the Steve and Kayla ones and the doubt or mistrust of Stephanie.

If Stephanie is closer involved with EJ than we have been allowed to see, what part could she be playing? Surely she doesn't have a chip in her head or made into a Stepford-type person. I thought her job would have been the one involving Max, but then EJ nearly killed her. This is a huge puzzle.

Days is so good now I can scarcely stand it. Today was infusion day for me and I spent four hours in my doctor's office chatting with a "used to be tuned in every now and again" Days watcher since the beginning and pumped her up to start watching again. She is planning to tune in on SoapNet and I'm sure will be pumping up all the other women she knows, too. It's habit forming LOL.

If this wedding had been after their next storyline, as the ending, I'd agree. But the way they've written it is that they just want it official, they FEEL married. I'd rather they throw an anniversary celebration of love. 20 year since their first wedding. I want them to elope.

Yeah I guess that would be alright as long as John and Marlena have some sort of huge celebration eventually. Would Sami show up?

The scenes in the first half always seem longer. We usually get longer scenes in the first part because sometime the halfway point airs later then usual. It depends who is on. Yesterday with a smaller cast we had logner scenes. Let's remember Beth did alot of that because she was interim and holding things up and preparing for Hogan. I also think Days was trying to save money and that Beth was trying to repair characters ruined under JER. I think that is why we got so much character covnersations and interactions with longer scenes.

I like the episodes right now. The first half is long and the second half is usually buildup to the end of the show. I have no problem with it but that is just me.

I do think something is up with Stephanie for sure and I also think Abe already knew Lexie did more then she was saying. I love Kayla but she has been stagnant since she returned. Steve has had much more to do then her. I mean he has interacted with characters left and right. I think once Kayla and Steve reunite and we see the adventurous side to them then the Kayla love will increase. Maybe it's because I was there for every Kayla moment during MBE's first run but I can never not like Kayla

I have to say that I'm a fan of the shorter segments. More story gets told that way. Stories stay at a fast pace and that's what DAYS needs after the lagging it's been doing for the past 3 years.

I have to comment on Steve and Chelsea today. Why couldn't Rachel Melvin came along only a year later and been cast as Stephanie Johnson? Okay, I understand that she looks nothing like Nichols or Evans, but Melvin and Nichols have excellent father/daughter chemistry. I felt like today proved that. In this one scene, Steve was more believable as a father figure to Chelsea than Bo ever has been. I hope we get to see more.

I'm with those that can't stand Kayla. Mary Beth Evans is a great actress, but until Kayla has something more to do than follow Steve around or give advice to Stephanie, I'm not interested in her.

I'm also sick of Stephanie's hyperventilating. Shayna Rose is a great actress and all, but I'm so glad Stephanie doesn't have asthma and we have to see her catch her breath on a normal basis. Rose doesn't play hyperventilating well. I was annoyed rather than moved.

Honestly, I don't see the greatness of Steve and Kayla. When I started watching, neither was on the show and I would always hear about Steve and Kayla and how much of a great couple they were. I did some research and honestly thought they were boring. I never had a desire for them to come back and when they officially did, I was less than impressed. I'd rather see them broken up. I enjoy them both when they're not together. If you hadn't guessed, I'm a Steve/Billie fan.

Unfortunately, I agree. I don't see the big deal with the character or the portrayer. In fact, I'm starting to dislike them both.

Exactly. Well, I dislike them when they're together. Seperated, I love them. Not so much Kayla because she hasn't really done much, but Steve, I love this guy.

I still love S/K, but they need to be on more. I'm glad this story is kicking in.
