Thought I'd start a thread about today's episode even though I'm only 15 minutes into the show.........

The hospital administrator was the guy who plays Taylor on Gilmore Girls.....

I'm loving the the scenes with Steve and Chelsea so far ........

Todays show starts a big story for Steve and Kayla..I'm so excited...

Stephanie hyperventilating? I'm over it. I was over it before it happened. But, that she knew to get Steve there and knew that something was up? Rock on. She may very well be involved deeper in the Black Glove project than I originally thought.

Abe appearing mid-episode? What? Why did he forgive Lexie again? I hate these two together. Isn't it obvious? But, I do love thier airtime and their story. I'm so glad the situation with Lexie's involvement in Sami's scheme is being treated with care. This SHOULD have happened back when the dead were alive, he rlosing her job and/or license. Might help if there was an actual chief of staff. *kicks JER*

I wanted to kiss Steve today. Okay, how is that different from any other day again? Well, the way he deflated Chelsea? OMG! That's a man, dude. He's got a dick! He's not afraid to use it! Thank you, Hogan! Now, Billie- grow up and stop being ashamed of said past. Like Steve said, everyone has one. You're obviously not a whole person if your're STILL hung up on shame over that.

John & Marlena were cute, but I preferred yesterday. I liked how they ran into Austin & Carrie at the justice of the peace, but damn, I'd be pissed as an Austin/Carrie fan if this is the gist of their send-off. It's rushed, not unlike Jack & Jenn's, but it's...bad. In fact, it's the weakest link for today's show.

I noticed an improvement in the background music. Finally.

That proposal was just so sweet. And so true! And they remembered the ring AND the charm bracelet. Two poignant J&M scenes. Who wrote today? Who wrote this WEEK actually? It's been awesome. And I don't want them to get married. Not yet. I think it's right that they're at A&C's wedding. Ro/Kate I don't get but John & Marlena have a long history with A&C. They fought for each other as couples.

The Steve/Chelsea scenes were the first time I actually liked Steve a little. He was funny, and handled her well. Rachel Melvin is fantastic though, she's so good at playing Chelsea as just not caring, but kinda does, not wanting people to know she does.

SO over the hyperventilating. Today's the first day since she came on the show that I wanted to smack her. I hope they don't turn her into a wuss. No way could Steve & Kayla's daughter be a wuss. But maybe you're on to something with her being more connected to EJ than we realize. She was awfully quick to suspect danger from a simple overhead page. If that's the case, I'll forgive the hyperventilating because it could be a product of realizing she put her mother in danger.

And I floved the smackdown he gave her. "Little girls in glass houses" indeed.

But of course, I loved door-kickin', rescue-ridin' , kayla-huggin' , arm-rubbin' , eye-snoggin' Steve at the end the very best of all. *long girly sigh*

The show's two biggest smartasses- man, you rock. Would someone make me a sig with Steve and Chelsea with the caption "Salem's Two Biggest Smartasses" or something? Because I'd love that.

I think Steve make sme like Kayla. I don't know what it is, there's something about her I just don't like individually. I can't place it at all.

Yeah I am over the hyperventilating too. It did seem like she knew more then she was saying because she automatically thought her mom was in trouble. I like Shayna and I don't her being a wuss but she was annoying. This is something to keep an eye on. Loved the creepy feel of the Kayla scenes. That voice was really chilling and the ending where Steve broke through the door, hugged her, and the they got gassed reminded me of classic Steve and Kayla. Mystery, intrigue, danger, etc-it was all there and his embrace made the scene for me.

Steve telling Chelsea off was a highlight. I like how he turned everything on her. Nice showdown there. I like how he told Billie everyone has pasts. Great scenes with Billie/Chelsea and really good with the Steve involvement.

I don't care about Austin and Carrie. Unlike J&J's, which was rushed but over 3 weeks where they were on everyday, I do agree condensing their goodbye into like 5 episodes in two weeks sucked but they just don't seem to fit in anymore. I don't mind this being rushed because it just feels like Days is on such a roll and they kind of slow things down. I got that feeling today. I love CC but I think the character needs a break to recover from JER's writing. Same goes for Austin.

I don't care for Lexie/Abe as a couple but nice scenes here. I liked how Lexie finally suffered the consequences finally for her actions and lost her job. The adminstrator being involved was a nice touch. Abe supporting her is nice but I get the sense they are going to have alot of problems so I will wait and see where this goes.

J&M were wonderful. The proposal was nice and I loved the end when they showed up to get married along with Austin and Carrie. I did want J&M to have a big wedding but I guess they have already been married like 3 times (including the Vegas vow renewal) so it's no big deal for me.

Good show-great ending. Tomarrow looks fantastic.

They don't need a big wedding. I'd rather they have just a big party after an elopement (ITALY!) for their friends and family (which would be an awesome way to bring Stefano back btw). They feel married, it's just about the officialness, and the proposal means more IMO.

I don't think John & Marlena need a big wedding, either, but I agree about the party, Pest Spray! As much as I do NOT want Stefano back, and I will not stop reiterating this, lol, I agree, it would be a great opportunity for him to return- especially if it's overseas (ITALY!), seeing as that's likely where Steffie would be hiding. It would mirror Tony's return in 2002, with the whole Penthouse Grille set up at John & Marlena's anniversary.
