Members EricMontreal22
Did you read the recent New Yorker piece on Lorre? It was far from flattering, but actually made me like the man an awful lot more (and had some great stuff about the tv industry, why Lorre hates single camera sitcoms, etc). The opposite could be said for Sheen.
Members Soapsuds
Charlie Sheen continues with his outbursts http://tv.yahoo.com/two-and-a-half-men/show/35441/news/tv.tvguide.com/tv.tvguide.com-charlie-sheen-ill-go-back-men-without-chuck-lorre?nc
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Whatever the case, I hope it leads to the end of this awful show. I've never understood its appeal. 8 seasons is long enough, and is a respectable run. Lots of sitcoms that are more legendary and were higher rated at their peaks didn't even last this long. Most sitcoms are lucky to make it to season 5 these days. Chuck Lorre and Warner Brothers will still be able to make a shitload of money of syndication and DVD sales. Members Soapsuds
Yes...she is Jake's girlfriend. She has a son from a previous marriage. Her son and Jake's son are best friends..lol
Members All My Shadows
I think you mean Alan. Random, but the guy who plays her son grew up two towns away from me. They made a HUGE deal in the papers when he got The Bill Engvall Show but crickets when he got on a show that people actually (and puzzlingly) watch. Members bellcurve
Martin Sheen and Christel go to the same church. NO! For real? I would love to read why Chuck Lorre hates single camera comedies, because(for the most part) I hate them too. I need to backorder that one. Members wingwalker
According to PopEater, "sources close to Charlie" says he's never coming back & the show is done. http://www.popeater.com/2011/02/25/charlie-sheen-leaving-two-and-a-half-men/ And apparently Charlie is planning to write a tell-all book: http://www.digitalspy.com/ustv/news/a306051/charlie-sheen-shopping-tell-all-book.html So I guess now, does the show continue without him, which Chuck Lorrie, has said in the past is against, or will CBS/Warner Bros just call it day & move on? Administrator Toups Posted February 26, 2011 Author Administrator Share Posted February 26, 2011 I hope he includes his 80's and 90's history, and all his marriages and his nights of hardcore partying. There's a ton of juicy stuff to cover!
Members Juliajms
He's under contract for next year, so that's not really his call to make. If he ever comes down, I think he'll have a different take on the situation. I wish this would happen, but given his "condition", do we really believe he is capable of writing a book? I think this is about as reality based as the show he has going over on HBO.
Members wingwalker
Maybe it will be an audio book? I say, Charlie, Lindsay Lohan, and Mel Gibson all team up and do a reality show.
Members Juliajms
OMG, that would be pure gold.
Members OLTL_fan
ABC is airing a special 20/20 interview with Charlie Sheen this Tuesday at 10. http://www.deadline.com/2011/02/charlie-sheen-does-abc-news-tv-interview/
Members wingwalker
Good god, an hour long interview? Charlie is just going to milk this as much as he can. Is ABC going to ask him to do DWTS next time around too?
