I agree with Cheap about LuLu. I think the character is wonderful and the actress is really good IMO. I generally like GH's younger characters. Well I like most of them. They are not these chisled pretty kids. Most of em are attractive, but they look like kids. And, I think they are good actors for the most part. They young woman who plays LuLu is good and I'm glad that Luke and Laura's daughter is a fixture on the show now.

GH's downfall isn't its casting. They have good performers. It's not showing the good performers. I believe GH struck gold with Scrubs. It's a mystery why they don't have Patrick and Robin enteracting with their families. That would be a very good multi-generational story with really well-liked characters. Instead we see the mob family and their anger issues.

LuLu, Dylan and Georgie are great young characters in my opinion. They are superior to most of the ones on other soaps, particularly AMC these days. Right now Starr is the best, but I don't put the GH kids far behind.

Of course, I see the GH kids are about to get Fronsied too. Did you see they are bringing in a "hunk" for the fall? Maybe I will be surprised and it will be a hunk who can act. Go away Fronsie.

I don't watch any ABC soaps, but he reminds me of some owners in pro sports. They always seem to rehire some coach who got fired after running a team into the ground, thinking that he will be different on his team. Then, when they find out that he truly sucks, they get rid of him too.

This is the very same thing that will happen to BF. He has his head stuck so far up his own ass with his arrogance that he feels he should give the fans what he wants them to have, not what theywant to see. It took NBC almost too much time to realize that fans love their soaps when the focus on the Over-40 scene. How many damn times has a soap turned its show into the teen hour and watched the ratings go right into the toilet? What is this fascination with the teen set? I don't mind seeing them as theycompliment the veterans, but to constantly make them the focal point of the show? Stupid. Then when the ratings go into the toilet, Frons will blame veryone else but himself. It almost seems like he's doing this on purpose.

I give it until the end of the year, before he's fired. But, he may get picked up by another network to write for some show or to run it. People never learn.
