September 2, 200619 yr Member Wait tell you guys see Alison on Monday. WOW! I hope she submits it for an emmy.
September 2, 200619 yr Member Andre, Kenny, Kirk, Nubia, Rugrat...if you watched the episodes this week what did you think? Would love to hear your comments... Sorry Kev, I have had the flu the last 2 days and havent been able to make it to the computer labs on campus. My roommate finally left so I can use his computer. Anyway, Friday's show was so good, I loved just about every minute of it. Like everyone has has pointed out the writing has improved 10 fold! Almost everyone is actually reacting realistically and talking like normal everyday people. EJ/Sami scenes were great. When Sami learned what the letter read I was actually surprised and I cant wait to see what she will do ne*t to try and keep full custody of Will. Scott Wells and Alison Sweeney work so well together. Cop station scenes: Wow, some realistic investigating without PDA's and normal cop talk. I was surprised when Tek went after Abe. Some actual real life conflict for once. I cant stress how much better the show has been this week. To me every show was solid, with Friday's being my favorite of the week. Wait tell you guys see Alison on Monday. WOW! I hope she submits it for an emmy. Really? Cant wait for it, thanks for the heads up.
September 2, 200619 yr Member Andre, Kenny, Kirk, Nubia, Rugrat...if you watched the episodes this week what did you think? Would love to hear your comments... I have been enthralled by the episodes airing this week--some of the best I have seen in a while. Sami/EJ were a couple I was rooting for since I saw them at the photo shoot was back in June. They are just hot. I am so disappointed Lumi may be revisited. The whole thing with the gloved hand is really drawing me in. I was jumping and giddy when Lexie went to Tek with her Brady theory, when Sami got the threatening call before her wedding, and when Sami and Lexie confronted each other and Lexie was informed about Lexie's call. Abe investigating lexie is a good twist, too. I am spoiler-free, with next week being the first full week I have not read any spoilers for.
September 2, 200619 yr Member Great show again today. Just got through watching on SoapNet. I have loved this whole week, but today's show was remarkable. I loved the Sami and EJ kiss. I just love them together. Come on Days fans lets vote for James Scott and Allison Sweeney in the Top 10. I know some of you are splitting the male vote by voting for Stephen Nichols and placing him in when he is not even on. Let's put James and Allison in there this week. They have been wonderful. I know Stephen was actually on this week but he has not had near the amount of stuff or material to work with that James has. Let's not become like the "fanbitches" of the other shows. Let's vote quality.
September 2, 200619 yr Member It was slipped under the door just before he opened it. There was only enough time for him to have set down the tray he was carrying, slip the note under the door then and raise up to put the key in the door and turn it, then pick up the tray and open the door. It was him. Sami already has his thumb print on an envelope and I can hardly wait until she starts figuring out something. She should already feel smothered to death by him. This is my only gripe right now. It's too overmuch. I rewatched the scene. The note was already on the floor when he opened it. It could have been there for a while. Also, wasn't a note slipped under the door when EJ was with Sami a while back. And the gloved hand has been all over the place at the same time as EJ was dancing with Sami and doing all sorts of stuff. He was also in the church beside Kate when Sami was called. So if it is him, he is working with someone.
September 2, 200619 yr Member Another solid show once again, Days. A very nice episode... and I think it shows in the actors' performances that they're happy to have an interim writer or someone other than JER in charge.
September 2, 200619 yr Member Wait tell you guys see Alison on Monday. WOW! I hope she submits it for an emmy. Wow-now I can't wait Drake can do wonders with good writing. He really isn't that bad as long as he doesn't overdo it. He is one actor that can't make bad writing work but with good writing and just not overdoing scenes he can be good.
September 2, 200619 yr Member I missed the very beginning and the conversation about the way Eve was killed with a bullet in her abdomen and one in her chest. Then when the Sami scene came on, I must have been looking off and then thought the note was just shoved under the door. At any rate, I reread EE and verified the note was there for my own piece of mind. It's nice to have fans devoted enough to keep records for us. Big thanks to them all. Now, after reading Andre's note, I'm going to read that transcript so I won't cry, maybe.
September 2, 200619 yr Member If Monday is as good as it sounds on paper, it will be Ali's emmy submission episode. It sounded so powerful.
September 2, 200619 yr Member I haven't been able to watch Days in a few weeks because I've been working for nearly three weeks (twelve hour shifts) without a goddamn motherfucking day off!
September 2, 200619 yr Member I haven't been able to watch Days in a few weeks because I've been working for nearly three weeks (twelve hour shifts) without a goddamn motherfucking day off! Investing in a VCR would do wonders, especially since you missed the three best weeks in a long, long time. But it's just your luck: the next three weeks (if the pattern holds) should be even better.
September 2, 200619 yr Member Yeah. Having a VCR is awesome. I put it on a timer when I go to school and it automatically records. After some of your comments about Monday's show, I can't wait to see it.
September 2, 200619 yr Member I record all my soaps on my computer (gotta love having a TV card) and then edit out the commercials and burn the mpegs to DVD. I've got almost the entire year of 2006 for Days, ATWT, and GL.
September 2, 200619 yr Member I can't say how much I enjoyed the past week on Days!! It was great!! I watched Thursday and Friday's episode back to back and it was just good stuff!! I found the conversation at Abe/Lexie's house with EJ, Sami and Lexi really interesting. Especially the mentions of the Dimeras. Then on yesterday's show, we had Sami talking about how evil the Dimera family is and the camera pans on EJ, who has a weird look on his face. I also found it strange the amount of time that EJ and Sami talked about the tea that he gave her. She asked what was in it. I'm wondering if EJ put something in that tea that would cause Sami to respond to him when he kissed her at the end of the show? It was a strange scene. Actually all of the EJ-Sami scenes were strange to me. Sami asking about his family. No reply from EJ. Sami asking whether EJ was falling for her. No reply from EJ. The dialogue and even the camera work was pretty striking!! The camera constantly kept going back to the envelope. It was like the writer of that scene wanted the audience to ask when is Sami going to pick up the envelope. It was very suspenseful and I really enjoyed those scenes. I also liked the dialogue b/w Lucas and Austin. I guess I'm biased b/c I'm a Lucas fan but I always like it when Lucas figures out stuff and acts like he has a brain. I do agree that the scene was mainly to provide the audience with clues about Sami's character. The past few weeks or so, there has been a huge shift in Sami's character. They are trying to rehabilitate her character by maturing her a bit and they're taking the time to do it. IMHO, that's why the scene was in there. I can't tell you how long it's been when I've enjoyed Days so much as I have the past few weeks!! And the thing is Hogie hasn't even gotten to Days yet!! I can't wait! I can't wait! I can't wait!!
