Watching it now, WOW. I see what Austin Peck was talking about when he spoke about this scene. There is definitely a "concrete", "this is it" feel to it. Alison was great. Definitely a big grand finale in the Austin/Sami saga!!

Tell me about it, RBSoapfan! I mean, this was one of 'those' daytime MOMENTS. I'm not sure I've even seen one like it before. Especially not with heavyweight soap characters.

I mean, think about it. After that conversation between Sami and Austin today, there is NO WAY ON EARTH, that ANY writer, EVER, could put them back together. The characters both KNOW they're wrong for each other, and that only CARRIE is Austin's match made in heaven. That's all there is to it. Sami and Austin will NEVER be revisited again.

EVER.

I mean, how fascinating is that? Doesn't it just blow your mind?!! I really don't think I've seen a bigger daytime moment, character-wise.
