Did they name Lilden's baby today? I missed it. Had a long night and woke up around 2pm...and ATWT starts at 1 pm here.

Not yet, I think it might be tomorrow if I got the jist of the preview after the show today.

Okay, after watching today's show, I'm more than ever think the writers are all hoping we think it's Louis. They are really making him over the top with the threats he made to Maddie about Henry and Eve. They are having this character acting soooo obvious as being the slasher, however, I don't buy it.

Louis may be "Jeepers Creepers" and the one that raped Maddie, but I don't think he is the slasher. If Louis was the slasher, he would have killed Casey the first chance he got, especially if he's so obsessed with Maddie.

Oh, and the focus on the mask today:

There are only four people that know about that mask, even before Gwen saw it:

Casey, who was wearing it in the picture

Maddie, who had it when she was in Chicago

Eve and Louis who had Maddie living with them.

I'm ruling Casey and Maddie out...So that leaves Eve and Louis; and as I said, it's too obvious to make the slasher Louis; it's almost too predictible. I'm going for Eve; she had a little rage going on today, especially when she kept telling Henry "Not to tell anyone about what he just said." Usually for me, when people keep stressing a sentence like that, something isn't on the up and up. Look at Damien, who kept saying the "danger was behind him".

When this story first started I said it might be Maddie.I thought that maybe she has a split personality (an alter) due to her sexual abuse that she suffered.Or,she goes in to some "fugue state" and she doesn't know what she is doing.

Probably not though. It will be Louis or a psychotic Eve.

The previews of next week they have been showing looks good.

Since when did the mask have paint marks on it? I don't remember it having those paint streaks on it when the slasher killed Nate and they showed the mask or when the slasher attacked Maddie.

They didn't show the mask when he/she killed Lia or Nate..It wasn't until the attack on Maddie did I see the mask, and it did have those blue/reds all over it.....

I wonder what will happen once this is all over; to me, alot has happened that pulled Maddie and Casey apart, and IMHO, it's going to be hard to go back to the way they were, especially since he's been spending more and more time with Gwen. I just feel that Maddie will be the one out in the cold still even after everyone learns what truly happened to her.

Yeah, I've been worried about that, too, but I think once Casey learns about her rape, and realizes that's why she pulled away from him, he'll be right back by her side in a heartbeat. I like that they are continuing to show how much he misses her and cares about her -- his whole conversation with Gwen yesterday was all about Maddie and things they did together. On the flip side, though, I don't know how they're going to deal with Maddie's thorough belief that he doesn't care about her anymore; the things she was fantasizing he was saying were pretty harsh, and I'm not sure how they'll come back from that. The trust seems far more broken on Maddie's side than Casey's, and she's the one who needs to trust more right now, if they are going to get back together.

But that said, I do think the writers are intending to bring them back together in the end; this storyline has been more about them and their relationship than anyone else, and it's put them on the map as a couple, instead of just on the sidelines of Gwen and Will's stories. I can't imagine the writers would take them -- and us -- this far along and not give us the resolution of a reunion in the end.

I don't know who said it earlier, but I too hope that Henry gets to beat the ever-living SH*! out of Louis. This story line is much better for Henry than his friendship with Emily, because he can really be a hero here if he can take care of his little sis. And anytime Henry's in the spotlight is good for me!

Though I do think Eve is the slasher. I think she knew about Maddie's rape, feels guilty (as well she should!), and wants to make it better by getting rid of the people who upset her sister. Only problem is that does make a genetic Coleman a serial murderer, which doesn't bode well for Maddie or Henry.... Maybe she can be adopted. Maybe Eve's an adopted Coleman and her actual sister is Jade. ;)

I really hope you're right about that reunion and I really agree with you about Casey. Maddie really listens to Casey and if anyone can make her understand that he really loves her and that she can trust again, it will be Casey.

I hope that Gwen and Will can work thinks out, even thro I believe Will is very dumb to let Jade lead him by his nose. Jade is a low life that is only interested in Will for his money. I believe she knew about Will before she came to town . Maybe she is really Roses 'daughter. She really seems to care about Holden's family.

I think Barbara hes met her match when it comes to Jade.

Okay, I'm calling it now....

I predict that ATWT is setting up a disaster movie rip off. That Fraiser Tower is coming down during November sweeps.

Did anyone pick up on the major clue that Eve said to Henry during their discussion?

"The book club ended early, so I decided to go home". That's exactly what makes me think that Eve knew what happened with Maddie. If she came home early, I'm pretty sure she didn't just look downstairs for Louis or Maddie. She had to have gone upstairs too to see if Maddie was around. I know that the door was closed and locked, but she still could have heard Louis talking all perverted to Maddie as he raped her.

I strongly doubt Louis was all hushed voiced; it's obvious that he likes to boast about his "special" relationship whenever he gets the chance alone with Maddie, so I think he was doing exactly that, telling Maddie how "special" it was, and Eve overheard, hurried downstairs, and did exactly what Maddie has done; pushed it out of her mind.

Now to the CarlySimon kiss...Poor Carly was definitely flustered, and she didn't exactly pull away when Simon kissed her.

I think you just might be right, however, November would be to soon maybe in the spring. It will most likly depend on how long PL is around.

ITA with your take on Eve. I also think that she is setting Lewis up to be the slasher/killer. She has planted many seeds of doubt first with Jack, and then today with Margo and Henry. The only thing missing in Lewis' bag was the mask.

As far as Carly/Simon are concerned, I would like to see them in the type of relationship that Carly had with Craig( sexy/funny/non-romantic). Even though Craig will soon return there is no telling what interactions he'll have with Carly this time around. She needs a friend who understands her without judging her. Just think of the angst their relationship is going to cause Katie. Can't wait to see Simon open a can of whup-ass on Mighty Mouse Mike.

What's up with Lucinda trying to set-up Lucy and Dusty?????

  • Member

Lucinda's always like Lucy and Dusty together. Maybe not at the beginning but.....

And how does everyone like the Lilden baby name...Ethan?

Personally, I like the name...but it sounds a bit too much like "Evan"...aka "Evan Walsh".

Agreed about Eve. I think she's setting it up to be Louis. As revenge. If she can kill Jade though, I'll just love the character cause she got rid of the annoying. Lia.

Ugh!!! Sometimes I hate the writing on this show.

I hate that they're using Lucinda to pimp out Dusty/Lucy! It doesn't matter if she's my favorite character: I still refuse to support those two together.

It's like how they only use Nancy to make Mike and Katie seem interesting.
