  1. Not too upset with Martin and Bradley being married. It's a first for daytime, so I love that BTG came out of the gate breaking barriers. I hope that the show plays on their past in the most soapiest ways. This doesn't have to be Martin's first marriage. What if Bradley's parents were some real grifters or con artists? Does he have siblings? I agree with/ @Cheap21 Kat gives me a smart businesswoman. With everything she is currently dealing with I can see her becoming a shark in the boardroom. So I'm looking forward to that business storyline.
  2. Thanks for the well-detailed reply. I'm fairly early in my viewing, so I have some time before it goes nuts. Thanks a lot! @kalbir and @DRW50 thank you so much. I am just approaching 100 episodes, so I'm good for now.
  3. So around '84 is when things get bad?
  4. I watch every day as well, and I am enjoying the show. There's always room for improvement. TBH, things are much different from what I expected reading the character breakdowns. That could be a good thing! I'm willing to let them find their groove and figure out what kind of show it wants to be. The core and underlying theme. -I echo what a few others have said: The show is lacking in real romance and cross-starred lovers. But that tracks from (MVJ) experience cause the bell soaps are not good with romance IMO. -I have a feeling it's being built before our eyes, but we're missing that rival family. -I would prefer more variety of storylines. Good ones that could weave together the whole town. -I struggle connecting to the male characters. So I hope they get a clear handle on them soon. Most of them feel underwritten and one-note. -Find a better purpose for Naomi. I fear she will be the first Dupree dumped. I completely agree. June's story does nothing for me. And what if she turns out to be Tyrell and Samantha's mom? They are very close to leaving high school. why should I care? If she turns out to be related to Hayley also, what's the long-term story, and why should I care? I believe Hayley can work on her own as a vixen. Does she need a sounding board? Sure, but you can accomplish that with an outsider's friend group. I didn't think I would be saying this, but I would entertain Kat having a forbidden affair with Jacob. Both Naomi and Jacob need something to do other than case-of-the-month storylines.
  5. 1999: I just watched it. It felt so primetime. La Lucci is making history. Aretha's daydreaming segment. @Contessa Donatella Thank you, my love. So helpful and informative as always. adding them to my queue.
  6. I was looking forward to a Guza May Sweeps, and this felt the complete opposite. I agree, it had to be in name only. That's a bad decision. I have no problem with a female running the show, but the male perspective is very lacking in the writing. So, a co-lead male strong voice is much needed.
  7. The best tagline, too.
  8. She sure is lol. I want them as a real couple now.
  9. I am anticipating the moment Bill finds out about Dani and much younger Andre. You can still build a real romance from it. And, I agree, I would love to watch Andre have a story of his own one day. Right now, Andre is being well used.
  10. I enjoyed all the cliffhangers. NEXT WEEK: Eva is flipping the script on Leslie for a change. Ms. Sharon is about to blow Anita's house down with her secret. Bill collapsing. Jacob arrests Leslie.
  11. I am here for Ms. Sharon.
  12. Awe, Andre is falling for Dani. I wonder what the long-term story is for them.
  13. I agree, Leslie has her best scenes opposite Eva. All the comic wig moments throw me off.
  14. I love watching smart women figure out their cases and mysteries.
  15. They keep talking about Andre being some playboy, and we barely see it. I wish they gave him like two or three throwaway scenes to showcase before pairing him with Dani.
  16. Andre just told NuTed about Dani.
  17. Sharon looks rough, baby.
  18. Loving this scene with Kat, Nicole, and Mona. Speaking of Nicole, I can not do a full week without her.
  19. I see they are trying to add more endearing elements to Kat. Glad to finally see Pamela eat wings at Uptown. Everyone usually only has Broccoli and carrots on their plate.
  20. They have renewed my interest back into Hayley. I hope they keep writing her like today. She was fun and looked fabulous. Facts on top of facts! And that is the area that I want them to deep dive into more. I forget what her purpose was for even visiting him at this point. Leslie had a great May but she can not do more of the same in June and July. I became very excited to see them interact. I don't know where it is going, but it could be a joy to watch.
  21. And she's the only one, and it would still be short-term.
  22. @Cheap21 You're right! But... Kat is playing the detective, so it is believable for her to make mistakes like this. Fine by me lol.
