It's a mess & weird & uncomfortable. They never should have cast Josh as Roman. Tons of people still to this day are mentally saying, "Why is Chris Kosichek serving chowder in the Brady Pub?" As if!

I think I can explain that. Good writing combined with good acting.

Well, Gwen & Theresa were both horrible people. But, where Gwen was arrogant & standoffish & mostly unlovable. Theresa was a friendly approachable screw-up.

Roman & Marlena were as popular as Luke & Laura at a particular time. The trick there is that it was a time when Luke & Laura were off the canvas. Heh heh. But, still, they were VERY popular. Roman & Anna were not a thing. Roman & Anna were together in the distant past, offscreen, before their characters had been created. Then, Anna showed up with this little 4 year old girl & a wild story. By that time Roman & Marlena were together.

I thought the day was phenomenal. I was astonished. Diane had a laundry list of don'ts for Carly in her pre-court instructions. Among them, do not flip your hair. Carly: I do not flip my hair. Diane: No, of course you don't.

But the hero of the day is Brennan.

I agree with Eddie Drueding and Roger Newcomb that this is in fact not true. It went around awhile ago. It was predicated on Colleen Zenk's having said that P&G wiped all of their content. I believe Colleen learned about the ancient practice of wiping & misunderstood it to be a current event. Today, for example, no one would say "wiping". They'd just say the tapes were wholesale destroyed.

She's also kicking it with her acting! So is Kate Mansi. I don't know when I have seen such amazing chops wasted on such a poorly written story.

OMG! Toups, you are flying in the face of the majority of the fans. Well, fans always disagree, so that's okay. But to me EOB has had two chances, both failures. Obviously she is not at all best at anything on this show, IMO. I watched yesterday twice. RARE. My rose is clearly Nicole & Eric. My thorn is that damned soap within a soap. Put up with it for months last year. Now they want to torture us again? Eric & Nicole told so lovingly, lots of flashbacks, nice music under it all, almost a montage, and FINALLY kisses, touches & love-making. I posted to Scott McKinsey telling him congrats on the episode. Also rare.

I must confess. I find it impossible to keep up with Michael & how he feels about Sonny at any given moment. There is no rhyme, also no reason, not even method or madness. They seem to just take it time and again. I do not believe Sonny has ever forgiven him for knowing that Nina was the rat & not informing Sonny of said fact. Do you happen to know what I mean?

On MAX, new documentary on Faye Dunaway, FAYE (2024). Just watched it & loved it. May watch it again. She intentionally did something a little bit different on each & every take. I find that amazing. Of course I was terribly interested in NETWORK because of Lin Bolen. Also, I was reminded of a movie I saw long ago that stayed with me but I didn't know its title. Now I do, HURRY SUNDOWN. Well, the history of soaps is littered with shows that not only had a lot of trouble early on, but they failed! They didn't make it past 18 months, 2 years, etc. Of course, I find it notable that Irna Phillips had two primary proteges & she was involved in the creation of 2 soaps for NBC which both struggled early on and were almost canceled. Bill Bell saved DAYS OF OUR LIVES and Agnes Nixon saved ANOTHER WORLD. Of course when it is written about it's stated that Betty Corday hired 2 people Bill Bell and Wes Kenney.

I believe the Gregorys just kind of wandered off. Basically, I don't think Agnes Nixon had any intention of writing for those characters. Truthfully they should never have existed. James Lipton also shouldn't have been HWing that, or any show. That only counts as canon in my book, though. And, at least we do know that Nixon never pulled anything remotely like killing off characters on a plane crash. Someone else, somewhere, surely must have done the deed.

Me, I got more of a kick out of the mention of .... Enchantment!!! Aw, come on, Michael & Carole probably would have hit it off!

For so long there's been a voice saying that something is going to happen to the Kristina/Tolly baby. Is this it? I can't help but wonder.

Me, I thought Tolly totally overreacted to the interview! All Kristina was doing was keeping all info about the baby private. Honestly, if she'd told the whole surrogacy story I bet that Tolly would have been furious with her for that choice. It really seems like she can't win with them. But, you're right that now things are getting dangerous. I really don't want this family breaking in two over this! And, now, finally, I'm on the bandwagon that something is going to happen to this baby.

So, if Jason & Carly are married, Jason cannot be compelled to testify against his wife.

This is a question I see every once in awhile. However, it's always about the woman, never the man. To some, if they're not eligible for a romantic pairing, they are useless. Others say, no, it's not that way. I myself am in the second camp.
